Of course, this is a long con in itself, as Jack arranges for Jocelyn to track down and take down Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). He gives her some information about Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and Cyrus. Jack definitely put Jocelyn’s life in danger multiple times when he put him in Cyrus’s path. Jack is doing an experiment. He is testing Jocelyn to see if she will kill Cyrus. She did not disappoint. But she could have killed herself and he didn’t seem to care.

Of course, this is Jocelyn’s revenge because Cyrus killed her boyfriend Dex. Jack is testing Jocelyn to see if she will become a ruthless, murderous WSB agent. So, all this time, Jack was lying to Carly’s face. This had been going on for months, even when she gave Jack the chance to confess about Jocelyn. But I’m really, really convinced that Jake was probably cheating on Carly and betrayed her from the beginning.

GH Shock: A look back at Jack’s kidnapping plot

If you remember when Brennan came to Port Charles, when Charles Mesur played the character, he was always focused on Carly and always on people who were connected to her, but most specifically Jason (played by Steve Burton) was the person that Brennan was most interested in. It’s obvious that Carly has been his target for a while, but I think Jack decided to play a long game of seduction and romance and use favors to impress Carly.

Recently, Valentin asked Carly how she got involved with Jack. She tells Valentine that the FBI’s Jagger Cates (Adam Harrington) gave her evidence on RICO charges, admitting at a mob meeting that she was running the Corinthos organization, which Jagger used as leverage to get Jason to work on a cunning undercover operation for him. general hospital.

The good news is that she’s finally suspicious of Jack, but I don’t think Carly is suspicious enough. She was so focused on getting Jocelyn away from WSB and the lies he told, I don’t think she saw the bigger end for Jack. I don’t think it’s about running away with Carly and, you know, becoming husband and wife and loving each other forever. I think Jack is basically running a honeypot plan on Carly and using himself as a trap.

If you remember, Jack tried to recruit Jason to the WSB on more than one occasion. I believe he was trying to get Anna to help him. Jack wishes he had an agent with Jason’s skills. Also, while Jason was undercover with the FBI and under Jagger’s control, Jack often ran back to Stone Cold, who was working as a mercenary for Pikeman. So, Jason would have been a great agent, but every time Jack approached him about WSB, he said no, and Jason hated Jack.

So, I’m kind of wondering if Jagger was Brennan’s inspiration for this long-running scam. Because we know Jason won’t volunteer to work for Jack, we also know he could be blackmailed if Carly is in danger. Brennan may not have deleted the RICO evidence the FBI had. Jack may have just stolen it so he could use it as a last-ditch plan to get what he wanted, and he certainly may have used it once he found out Carly was conspiring with Valentine. Everyone knows Carly is one of Jason’s few weaknesses, and I don’t think Jack would hesitate to threaten Carly to get what he wants from Jason.

Another recent red flag was a conversation Jack had with Jocelyn, in which Jack told Jocelyn that he was trying to tell her that nothing was more important than the mission.
