‘Stranger Things’ Season 5 Part 2 Finale Explained: Who Split? Will Will come out?

Season 5 stranger things The second batch of episodes returns, focusing on a major breakup, possible death – and Will coming out about his sexuality.
The second part of the show’s final season premieres on Thursday, December 25, and is hosted by Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower) trying to maintain control of the Upside Down. maximum (Sadie Sink) and Holly (Nell Fisher) caused him difficulties, and he soon discovered that Will (Noah Schnapp) can also enter his mind.
Fortunately, Max is able to find his way back to Hawkins, but Holly cannot. Instead, she, like all the kids, got into more trouble – except for Derek (jack connery)—turned against her. As the rest of the team learns more about his backstory, they must find a way to take down the big bad.
Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo) pieced together, the Upside Down is actually a bridge between the real world and a place filled with strange substances (aka the Abyss). Vecna’s ultimate plan is to merge the two worlds together, but they must stop it.
Before they go into battle, Al (Millie Bobby Brown) was persuaded by Kali (Linnie Belselson) they cannot save the world and return. Carly instead tells Eleven to stay behind and disappear for her own good.
And Will, who realizes he must honestly face his greatest fears before seeing Vecna again. He told his loved ones he was gay and gained their support as they prepared to risk their lives one last time.

Joyce Byers

After she discovers her son’s superpowers, Joyce (Winona Ryder) convinces Will to embrace them. This prompts Will to help Holly, but also briefly traps him. Joyce is supported by her boyfriend Hopper (David Harbor) She was there when Will came back. When Will comes out to everyone, Joyce is with him.

Provided by NetflixHopper and Eleven begin to argue when Hopper realizes that Eleven intends to help her instead of himself. The rift becomes even more severe when he sees Carly affecting Eleven…more on that later.
Mike Wheeler

The second part of the final season shows Mike helping out when needed. He also talks to Eleven about their future, with him remaining more optimistic, while Eleven is unsure if Vecna will be safe once she is destroyed. Mike is present when Will comes out and mentions his crush on a close friend, but it’s unclear if Mike realizes it’s about him.

Going back to Carly’s conversation with Eleven, part two shows Carly telling Eleven that she would never run away from someone like Dr. Kai (Linda Hamilton). The new villain uses Carly’s blood to try to create new “weapons” in the form of children with telekinesis and telepathy. To achieve this, Dr. Kay infused the pregnant woman with Carly’s blood, but she realized she actually needed Eleven’s blood, which was created from Henry’s blood.
Dustin Henderson

After an emotional struggle, Dustin and Steve (Joe Keery) discuss their problems. Steve insults Eddie (joseph quin) as he was a suicidal hero, but Dustin admitted he couldn’t lose Steve the same way. Dustin also discovers that strange matter surrounds the Upside Down and masks the fact that the Abyss exists above it.
Lucas Sinclair

When Max returns to the real world, Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) plays an important role around her. He held her body to make sure Vecna didn’t get to her first, and was there if she needed help adjusting.
Nancy Wheeler

Natalia Dyer’s Nancy is finally able to talk to Jonathan (Charlie Heaton) about their stalled relationship. She breaks up with Jonathan in a delicate moment when she admits she doesn’t know what she wants.
Jonathan Byers

Similarly, Jonathan confesses to Nancy everything he has hidden from her – including his plans to propose. They weren’t actually engaged, but broke up. He was there and supported Will when his brother came out to everyone.
Will Byers

A conversation with Vecna leads Will to realize that he helped create the Upside Down when his mind was possessed years ago. He feels terrible about the role he played and is even more determined to make sure Vecna loses his powers.
But before that happens, Vecna lets Will see a future where the people he loves don’t accept him for who he is. This inspired him to face his fears and come out to them – and he received support and love.
Max Mayfield

After two years of trance, Max finally returns to the real world. However, she first spends time with Holly and convinces her that she, too, can come back from the Upside Down. This doesn’t happen because Max feels guilty because of Vecna’s power over Holly. Despite this, she was able to reunite with Lucas and was in a wheelchair as she regained her strength.
Steve Harrington

Geary’s Steve is still alive, as much of Part Two is spent caring about his issues with Dustin. He also thought of the final plan to launch.
Robin Buckley

In a new batch of episodes, Robin (Maya Hawke) tell Vickie (Amybeth McNulty) the truth about what is happening.
Erica Sinclair

With help from Erica (Priya Ferguson), Mr. Clark (Randy Havens) finally understood what happened to Hawkins.
Henry Creel and “One and Vecna”

When Max and Holly see Vecna trying to help a man in a cave, his backstory is revealed. The unknown stranger shot Henry when he was a child, and Henry beat him to death. The rest of Part Two shows Vecna trying to take control of the situation while Holly, Max, and Will complicate his plans. The final scene is when Vecna holds a séance and he takes over all the children.
