Then Paltrow whipped up a mouth-watering breakfast using holiday leftovers — starting with turning some of the stuffing in the fridge into waffles. She topped it with some sautéed onions, rainbow chard, and two fried eggs for a meal that even the pickiest of boyfriends would love.

In 2022, Paltrow launched a series of “Breakfast for Boyfriend” tutorials based on meals her now-husband makes Brad Falchuk Every Saturday morning when they were dating. (Paltrow and Falchuk began dating in 2014 and tied the knot in 2018.)

“When we were dating, we started this tradition where I make him breakfast every Saturday morning,” she told Fashion September 2022. “I would come up with all these really creative breakfasts. It was something I would spend time planning every week. I called them ‘boyfriend breakfasts.'”

Paltrow explained that her “boyfriend breakfast” with Falchuk stemmed from her questioning whether she could “be a feminist and still enjoy doing housework.”

“[You can] If you realize – you’re doing something, you’re taking care of something because you love it,” she added.

The Oscar winner’s most famous “boyfriend breakfast” is an original frittata she shared via Instagram in 2022. This recipe combines a traditional egg dish with turkey bacon, potatoes, spinach, and ghee-caramelized onions.

Meanwhile, Saturday’s Instagram video is far from the first time Martin has twinned with her famous mom. Martin was almost a doppelganger of her mother when she was photographed walking her dog in the Hamptons in July wearing a white sweater, navy shorts and matching Mary Jane loafers.

Martin took direct inspiration from one of Paltrow’s iconic fashion moments, when she wore her mother’s vintage black Calvin Klein dress to a wedding. Marty Supre Premieres in New York on December 16th.

The young socialite and singer told Fashion In September, she continued to be inspired by Paltrow’s style.

“She’s such a jerk when it comes to fashion and just does what she wants and doesn’t really care,” Martin declared. “I feel like I’ve finally reached a point where I don’t care what other people think. She influenced me.”

Paltrow, meanwhile, admitted to the publication that she began considering Martin’s future style choices before her daughter was born. “The weird thing is, I started saving clothes for Apple about 15, 20 years before Apple was born,” Paltrow revealed in September. “I would see more than just the top of the mountain, I would see a moment in my life and all the circumstances surrounding it. I always saved everything in the hope that one day I would have a daughter who would want to be in [my closet]”.
