Multiple now Avengers: Doomsday The trailers have been officially released (rather than simply leaked online), giving fans a chance to take a closer look at them for every possible clue as to what’s going to happen in the upcoming ensemble blockbuster. Recently, some Marvel super sleuths discovered something very surprising: some confusing numbers that could be a secret code.
Unsurprisingly, many fans believe these codes (which appear slightly different in multiple trailers) could be a strange way for the Russo brothers to tease some big revelations. Avengers: DoomsdayThe film’s exact plot remains shrouded in mystery.
A code that would confuse even Tony Stark
The first code is found in the first end The trailer shows Captain America leaving his idyllic life behind to prepare to join the fight against Doctor Doom. Finally, this trailer reveals the confusing code 1e24ber02020. This might just be some cryptic mumbo jumbo (more on that later), but the second trailer (in which Thor prays to Odin for the strength to both fight his latest enemy and be a good father to his daughter) has its own code: 1e17ber02020.
So, what do these strange codes mean? A number of theories have been proposed by a segment of devoted fans, but none seem more likely than the other. The simplest explanation is that these codes may correspond to two dates (October 17, 2020, and October 24, 2020) that are exactly one week apart; while this would imply some kind of connection, no one has been able to tie these exact dates to any major events in the MCU.
Doomsday clues hidden in comic books?
Other fans also interpreted the two people Avengers: Doomsday The codes are for two different dates: January 17th and January 24th. While these are not consistent with any MCU events, Marvel Comics Dr. Doom #4 comes out on the 17th; in this issue, the protagonist attempts to clear his name (he predicted the dangers of a black hole experiment and was then blamed when the experiment killed thousands), culminating in him breaking into an AIM facility and fighting Taskmaster and Murdoc. end It’s unlikely that the comics will recreate any of these specific events Do Doctor Doom believes he may be destined to save humanity, which could indicate the character’s motivations in the upcoming Avengers movie (i.e. protecting the entire multiverse, just like Tony Stark wants to protect Earth).
There are also less complex theories. Of course, considering the code in the Captain America trailer is higher than the one in the Thor trailer, some believe the trailer is in some way a countdown to, possibly, the release of the full trailer. Other fans believe the codes have no real meaning at all; since the code only appears half a second before the official countdown to the film’s release, some believe it’s just a cool “glitch” style effect before the official countdown (dubbed by some as a “Doomsday Clock”) is revealed.
Are fans being fooled by false hype?
Some cynical fans believe the codes have no real meaning and are just Marvel trying to create hype Avengers: Doomsday. The fact that so many fans spend so much time and brainpower trying to predict what will happen in the upcoming movie may prove that: end will finally get the most ambitious cinematic universe ever created back on track.
Now comes the hard part: delivering a movie that truly lives up to everyone’s wildest expectations!
