‘Sister Wives” Kody Brown Says He Owes Robin Biggest Apology

“I need to stop putting myself down. It’s about you and me,” Kody, 56, told Robin, 47, on “Something About You and Me.” US WeeklyGet an exclusive look at him after wrapping up his apology tour with his ex-wife on Sunday, January 4.
“The only thing I shy away from is when you’re emotionally insecure,” Robin responded, seemingly agreeing with Kody’s new attitude toward their marriage. “That’s it.”
Kody noted that “some of the things I’ve done recently may have helped” him spend more time with Robin, referring to his meeting with his ex Meri Brown, Janelle Brown and Christine Brown after their respective splits.
After a pause, Cody turned to Robin and sure enough saw her. “Thank you for your loyalty,” he said during an emotional moment for the couple.
“Well, you deserve this. Honey, you earned this from me. I’m right here,” Robin assured her spouse. She tied the knot spiritually four years ago and legally married her in 2014.
Kody admitted that Robin had been there for him, and it was almost at that moment that he realized that he never told her what that meant when he was struggling with the breakup.
“That’s not fair. I’m not being fair to you,” he admitted. “I’ve been apologizing to everyone. No matter how cruel they were. I’ve been apologizing to them all.”
Cody admitted, “But you were never cruel. You were never unkind. You were never disloyal. I’ve been apologizing to everyone. I guess I owe it to you the most.”
While Robin accepted Cody’s heartfelt apology, he continued to process his recent behavior in a confessional interview.
“Oh my gosh, I’ve apologized to everyone but you,” he told Robin’s camera, calling her “the woman who has been so supportive of me through all my bullshit, all my weakness, all my anger, all my rants, rants, and complaints.”

His third wife, Christine, 53, announced in November 2021 that she and Kody were ending their marriage after more than 25 years together. Her choice to leave him and his extended polygamous family set off a chain reaction.
His second wife, Janelle, 56, followed suit, announcing her separation from Kody in December 2022 after nearly 30 years of marriage.
Kody was legally married to his first wife, Meri, from 1990 to 2014 and then mentally married for nearly a decade. In January 2023, she confirmed that she and Kody had also parted ways.
With each breakup, Kody grew further away from his remaining wife, Robin, but she remained committed to him and their life—even now as a monogamous couple.

Meanwhile, Robyn told the camera that she’s happy with the positive changes she’s seen in Cody since he ended.
“I think taking responsibility for his role in the breakdown of his marriage, I think, gave him some peace and helped him heal,” she said in the video. “But then I also saw him breathe a sigh of relief. Like, ‘OK, I took responsibility for my part.'”
