Swift, 36, is known for her generous year-end donations to charities and nonprofits.
In December 2025, the “Ophelia’s Fate” singer donated $1 million each to Feeding America and the American Heart Association.
“We’re so grateful to Taylor Swift for donating $1 million to Feeding America,” Feeding America CEO Claire Babineau-Fontenot said in a press release last month. “This holiday season, her continued support is a powerful reminder that when we come together to end hunger, anything is possible. When we work together with those facing hunger, we can ensure families have enough to eat this holiday season and beyond.”
That same month, the American Heart Association announced it had received a $1 million donation from the singer in memory of her father. Scott SwiftHad quintuple bypass surgery in the summer of 2025.
The American Heart Association said in a press release that Swift’s donation will “advance ongoing scientific research, strengthen prevention and treatment efforts, and expand access to lifesaving care in every community.”
“Taylor Swift’s extraordinary generosity will bring lasting change that goes far beyond its financial value,” said Nancy BrownCEO, American Heart Association. “Her family’s experience with cardiovascular disease is all too common, affecting nearly half of American adults. Her commitment to supporting her father will make many others aware of the need to take their heart health seriously, increase prevention efforts, and improve controllable risk factors—ultimately helping more people live longer, healthier lives.”
In October, Swift gave an update on Scott’s health following surgery in July.
“On his own terms, he’s actually 150 percent back now. So he’s definitely got a lot of energy. He’s doing great. I’m so happy,” she said on SiriusXM’s “Morning Mash Up.”
She added, “To illustrate this point, my dad had quintuple bypass surgery over the summer.”
Swift continued, “The most important part of our summer, as a family, was taking care of him and getting him back to who he was. He got amazing medical care and help. I will always be grateful for those doctors and nurses. Honestly, it puts your mind back on what’s important. It really does. Thank you for bringing that up because it reminds me how lucky I am that he made it through this.”
