Early General Hospital spoilers January 19-23: Michael in trouble – Sonny fights to save the world!

general hospital Spoilers for January 19-23, 2026 reveal that Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) is in trouble and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is in trouble.

As we do on Early Release Days, we’ll start with a look at what’s in store for the rest of the week, then dive into next week’s content.

General Hospital spoilers: Anna tries to escape

On Wednesday, January 14, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) told one of his men that she was too close, so he had to improvise. I think Sidwell was talking about why he had to kidnap Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). I also do wonder if Pascal (Mark Fugit) will beat Anna in this wrestling match. I mean, he’s a bigger, stronger guy.

2026 growth hormone Spoilers say Anna plans to escape, but will be thwarted. Plus, even when she left Pascal, there were armed security guards everywhere. Apparently, Anna isn’t going anywhere anytime soon until she’s rescued, which is coming.

Carly’s Adventures in Eavesdropping and Sidwell’s Traps on GH

Carly Corinthos Spencer (Laura White) picks up some useful information while eavesdropping. This is her listening to Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) talking about plotting to frame Sidwell and obtain the research he asked her to do for WSB so WSB could get its hands on it.

Meanwhile, Brennan yells at someone, “What the hell are you doing in my room?” The question is, is he taking it out on Carly? It looked like she had put on a robe to make it look like she was in his room waiting for sex. I think she would try to treat it as an intimate thing.

It’s kind of ironic, since Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stewart) just asked Carly how long she was going to sleep with a man she disliked so much, something she might have to do again. We’ll see.

Valentine arrested in Windermere and Ava Jerome cheating on General Hospital

Valentine is in a tight spot this week. Ava Jerome (Maura West) captures him in Windermere, but it looks like he’s on the run. Then Ava tells someone he’s full of surprises, isn’t he? I think she’s talking about Valentine because Ava is going to tell Sidwell that she found Valentine lurking in the house.

She might tell him what he was doing—that he was crawling around the fireplace, looking for the lever for the trapdoor, which she said she had taken away.

Jason Morgan and Britt Westbourne’s budding romance on GH

Plus, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is comparing notes with Elizabeth Webb (Rebecca Herbst). This could be about Willow Tate’s (Caitlin McMullen) situation with Michael at the trial and her testimony. Apparently, Jason wouldn’t hold it against her. Elizabeth just said what happened.

Plus, while he was in the hospital, Jason ran into Britt and asked her if she wanted to go out with him tonight and she would say yes. Despite what Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) tells Britt, Jason will always choose someone else over her. She was just a smitten kitten. Brad will ask Jason to stay away from Britt, as we predicted, but I don’t think he’ll listen.

Sonny seeks answers as trial reaches breaking point

Carly tells someone it was a disaster and it looks like she’s back in the loft talking to Valentin. Whether Jack caught her snooping or if he yelled at someone else, Carly clearly knew it was bad. I do think Jack caught her.

Then, of course, Ava discovers that Valentin has done the same thing. Both had lost the element of surprise. This meant Valentine needed to get to Sidwell as quickly as possible. Sonny is looking for answers. He and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) are talking and Sonny says someone has to take responsibility to make this go away.

I wonder if Alexis violated her oath as a lawyer and told Sonny that Willow shot Drew Kane Quartermaine (Cameron Matheson), fearing that Willow would get a not guilty verdict and then Michael would come under scrutiny. If Sonny could find a red herring like Sidwell, that would be a good thing for the DA to keep an eye on.

Laura Collins stars as Peacemaker as teenage romance blossoms on ‘General Hospital’

On Thursday, January 15, Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) will play the Peacemaker. This could be something between her brother Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), as Tracy knows Drew left Ned Quartermaine (Wally Cuse) dead, and Martin eavesdropped on Tracy and Michael and gave the information to Alexis, so she’s even more angry. I love that when Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero) goes down with a gun, Martin says, “I’m out,” and then he leaves, which is a smart move.

On Thursday, Carly spent some time reconnecting with Jocelyn Jakes (Eden McCoy). Of course, Carly’s daughter is still concerned that Valentin is on the loose. I wonder if Carly might have inadvertently tipped off Jocelyn because she was acting weird, especially when she asked to get something from the attic or if it was just Carly trying to kick her out the door.

Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) and Emma Scorpio-Drake (Brooklyn Ray Silzer) are taking things to the next level, and it looks like they might have sex. They had Anna’s spot all to themselves. Elsewhere, Brooke Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Seton) is getting defensive towards Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), possibly due to his involvement in Willow’s case. She might confront Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) or Tracy, or anyone else in the family who might have issues.

Ax Throwing Date and Nina’s Ultimatum to Drew Cain

On Thursday, Jason took Britt out on a date. Where they were going to throw the axe. Jason looked impressed as Britt hit the target. I mean, come on — Cesar Faison (Anders Hof) and Lise Obrecht (Catherine Gatti) probably had a throwing ax when she was a kid. Obviously, Brad is going to be a problem and an obstacle in the relationship because he doesn’t trust Jason and his best friend’s heart.

On Friday, January 16, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) sent Drew a notice. Nina blames Drew for all of Willow’s problems and she wants Willow to leave him. Nina will probably warn Drew to sit down, shut up and not make things worse until they get this verdict.

Anna’s shocking discovery and Alexis Davis’ legal woes on General Hospital

Anna was shocked. She doesn’t run away, but I do wonder if, when she tried to run away, she could see enough to realize that she was on Spoon Island and that she was still in Port Charles.

Alexis must explain her actions. Drew or Willow might have questions like, “Why was Alexis so late in court? Why was her closing so uneventful? Why did she name Willow instead of Michael at that surprising moment in the closing process?”

Is this a Freudian slip? Is it intentional? Additionally, we see Diane Miller (Caroline Hennessy) in a wheelchair at the law office. By the way, if you didn’t know, actress Caroline Hennessey tripped while trying not to trip over her puppy and broke her leg. She has now recovered, but at the time of filming these scenes, the actress was still recovering.

General Hospital Spoilers: The Week of January 19-23

Liu’er anxiously awaits her fate. The verdict is coming. Chase is going to meet Dante on Friday. Heading into the week of January 19-23, Alexis may win in court, but still faces some issues when it comes to meeting Scott Kane (Cosette Abinante), as Drew inevitably discovers Willow shot him. My money is on the not guilty verdict. general hospital. We’ll see.

The DA might then immediately turn their attention to Michael. Charlotte Cassadine (Brucey Burke) plans to escape her protective detail. As they search for her, we’ll see sparks fly between Nathan West (Ryan Pevey) and Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havens Bruning). Martin faces serious trouble from Tracy. Nina must deal with Brennan, who tries to benefit Nina by getting information about Valentine.

Valentine’s life in danger and more drama at Port Charles General Hospital

We may be seeing some Rick Lansing (Rick Hurst) scenes soon. If Willow gets a not guilty verdict, she may push for a custody hearing. Valentin is determined to protect Charlotte, which may cost him his life.

Britt and Jason soon become trapped in a snowstorm, and Britt threatens to reveal what’s really going on in her life. Anna soon gets a shock from her past. Dante, Sonny and the others worry and wonder what will happen next after this verdict.

Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr) will soon face a paternity test. Valentine may return to Sidwell soon to tell him that Brennan is working with Britt against him. Plus, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristin Vaganos) are officially boyfriend and girlfriend, but their troubles aren’t over yet.
