On Days of Our Lives , Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) berates his ex-wife while Gwen Rizchic (Emily O’Brien) complains about her soon-to-be ex-husband. Soon, Xander and Gwen will have some rebound action that’s part revenge and maybe romance.

Judging from the way things are going, Xander will definitely have a relationship with the wife of Dimitri von Leuschner DiMera (played by Peter Porter) soon.

Xander Cook and Sarah Horton face off over Titans business

It’s been a busy week for Xander and Gwen. Sarah Horton (Lindsay Godfrey) bursts into her ex-husband’s office, furious that Sandor fired Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), even though they were divorced. Sarah feels she has the right to go to his workplace and express her opinion to Xander about business decisions.

However, he didn’t hear any complaints from Sarah. Xander says yes, he fired Brady, but then Maggie Horton Kiriakis (Susan Rogers) gave him the job. Brady refused. And he was the one who decided to leave Basic black and titan. He said he wanted to do something else, and if I remember correctly, he called it a blessing in disguise.

When Sarah called Xander out, he had something to say. He told Sarah that, basically, she was being self-righteous. Zander said Sarah was not a poster child for mental health and she made a lot of mistakes. This caused Sarah to walk out of the office angrily. After that confrontation, Xander wisely called his psychiatrist, Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), and made an emergency appointment.

At the Kiriakis mansion, Sarah gets mad at her mom, Maggie, because she doesn’t like what she’s hearing. Sarah doesn’t like at all that Maggie suspects she has ulterior motives in going there to have a showdown with Xander. Maggie seemed to think Sarah went out of her way to fight Xander just so she could see him. This made Sarah angry and she snapped that she was completely wrong.

I also wonder how Marlena will advise Xander when he starts talking about his dissatisfaction with Sarah and Brady. Marlena is Brady’s stepmother. She wanted to support Brady. Of course, he talks to her about his blossoming relationship with Sarah. We have a stepmother and a therapist role. These would be contradictory on this issue the days we live in.

We see Maggie advise Sarah to be careful around Brady. She believes both Sarah and Brady are in a vulnerable position. But to be fair; Xander is also in a weak position. When he got the divorce papers from Sarah, he was devastated.

Soon, Xander may be going back to his old ways when it comes to Gwen because he’s so upset about the divorce. I predict Xander and Gwen will see a rebound revenge romance soon, or at least some steamy revenge sex.

We know from the big winter promo that Xander will be sleeping with Gwen soon. Things get hot and heavy between them. Xander and Gwen had become very close over the past few years, but only for a minute.

While Xander is single and may be getting married soon, Gwen remains married to Dimitri von Leuschner DiMera. But that’s all about the form of his wealth. It was a loveless marriage of convenience—or now, a marriage of inconvenience. Dimitri doesn’t even like women, especially his wife Gwen. I think she’d be happy to crawl back into the sack with Xander.

More importantly, I bet Gwen will want to work her way back into Xander’s heart and restore the relationship they had before he and Sarah got back together. They got married and had children. And did all these things. We also know that Gwen and Kristen DiMera (Stacey Haiduk) are soon plotting to get what they want.

For Gwen, this means Xander and revenge against Dimitri. She hopes to frame him for DiMera’s kidnapping. For Kristen, it could be revenge against EJ DiMera (Dan Ferrigal), but it could also be a reunion with Brady. That means Sarah could cause trouble for Gwen and Kristen. We remember these two have previously targeted Sarah together.

Now, Gwen needs some stress relief. A bedroom workout with the hunky Scot might just be the way to go. Gwen tries to keep the lab funded, while Dimitri threatens to cut off the flow of funds. Gwen realizes that she stepped in shit when she brought Dimitri back from Alamein prison, because now he’s planning to divorce her and wants back every penny he inherited. This is the money she invested in the laboratory with EJ and Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton).

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Xander and Sarah’s Slow Road to Reunion

Despite everything that happened, I bet Gwen found time to have dinner, dance, drink, and romance with Xander, followed by a passionate roll in the hay. However, our leaker has a good track record and tells us that whatever happens between Gwen and Xander, it won’t last long.

From what they tell us, Sarah and Brady got serious. They started sleeping together. He then proposes to Sarah. That’s when she realized Brady wasn’t her person. She couldn’t shake her feelings for Xander. Meanwhile, Sarah’s ex-husband continues to treat Marlena. He may also start “imitating” Gwen, but this won’t last.

Rumor has it that Xander and Sarah will be on a slow road to reconciliation starting this spring, but they reportedly won’t actually reunite in a meaningful way until the fall. While Gwen may once again fully support Xander, she will ultimately be heartbroken. If she falls in love with him again, it will be fruitless. Once Xander realizes he has a chance to win his ex-wife back, nothing comes between him and Sarah.

Days of Our Lives: The jealousy and ultimate fate of a fan-favorite super couple

I suspect Marlena might encourage Xander to start dating and move on, respecting the fact that Sarah can also move on with whoever she wants – even Brady. But we also know that Sarah might get jealous if she finds out Xander and Gwen are back together. Gwen and Kristen once again do terrible things to Sarah to keep her away from Xander.

Just because Gwen asks Xander to sleep with her doesn’t mean it’s going to be romantic. It might just be physical. Xander may also be using Gwen to try and get intel on DiMera Enterprises since she is under the same roof as the DiMera family.

Anything between Xander and Gwen would just be an obstacle in Xander’s path back to Sarah. These two are destined to become a super couple again. Fans love them together. Ultimately, when Xander and Sarah fall into each other’s arms again, both Brady and Gwen will likely be crushed.

Before the reunion begins, we soon get to see Gwen and Xander get animated in some naughty revenge backlash action. So keep watching.
