Scottie Scheffler lamented missing out on the second round

Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida – TPC Sawgrass’ two rounds aren’t frustrating for most players. But when you Scottie Scheffler and you won the player championship for two consecutive years, expectations will be different.
Scheffler released three rounds of 69 and 70, starting the week’s player and taking a 6-shot lead. But looking at him over the course of the day, you see a player obviously frustrated by his performance.
“I feel like I can score a lot better in the last two days. The number of good putts I hit is just in the hole,” Scheffler said. “Sometimes the putts that were going to come in last few weeks have not seemed to have been there.”
During the 36 holes, Schaffler lost to 0.21 with the putter. Last season, when he won eight tournaments, he received a stroke of +0.095: putter.
“I don’t have to play perfect golf to try to win games, sometimes I try to rely on [previous wins] When I was there, it was a little bit,” Schefler said, “but I talked a lot. Last year was last year. This year is a completely different year. This is a different golf course that feels different. There are a lot of different things happening. ”
On Friday’s fourth hole, Schefler missed a 14-foot putt. As he walked to the fourth serving box, an angry Shefleur shook his head and turned to Caddy Ted Scott and said, “I just like the lips!” while putting his hands on both sides of him.
Then in seventh place, Scheffler’s drive spotted a nasty fairway bunker and gave him a tough lie that his recovery shot didn’t even smell the green. Scheffler angrily picked up his club and lashed it out. However, he was able to get out of the situation up and down to get the crucial cards.
“I didn’t do a lot to fire [the crowd] Rises today.
Afterwards, Schefler seemed more relaxed. He tries to see what he can do on the weekend while admitting that he can’t take advantage of the simple terms as he hoped. Starting Saturday, gusts of wind including up to 30 mph will be shrouded on saw grass, and the route should be more difficult in the final two rounds.
“If you go to the route to the open tournament, you can play on the ground. In this place, you really can’t do it.” “The fairway is very soft. You have to get the air load, so you have to make sure you control the rotation, it’s really solid. Sometimes it feels like you guessed a little in the wind, hoping you guessed it more frequently, not wrong.”
