After 4 hours delay, the player championship final resumes

Ponte Vedela Beach, Florida – The player champion turned into a game on Sunday, when Rory McIlroy took a goal to lead in the last nine games after the thunderstorm broke out.

The PGA Tour was suspended for four hours. The final group had not completed the 11th hole before the game was suspended, which meant more than two hours were completed. Sunset is expected to be at 7:34 pm ET.

McIlroy, already the champion of the year and won his second title among players, started his final four and started Birdie-eagle, entering the game immediately. His birdie was in the 11th hole of the 5th, leaving him under 12.

JJ Spaun entered the final day’s lead, and he finished 1, trailing McIlroy.

Akshay Bhatia and Tom Hoge were two shots behind.

Hoge beats all the problems on a stormy day. When the horn sounded and stopped playing, he hit 15 feet away from the 18th hole. His hope is to post a goal and see if he will stand.

If the storm stays in the area and doesn’t have enough daylight to finish, players will have to return to Monday morning to see who earned $4.5 million in prize money from the richest game of golf.

Two-time defending champion Scottie Scheffler is seven shots behind after playing the 16th hole. From the 13th hole on Saturday to the 11th hole on Sunday, Schefler had 15 consecutive birdless holes.

When Cameron Smith won the game, the last time the player had to finish the game on Monday. The weather was so devastating that the third round was not completed until Monday morning.
