Royce Lewis exits the game due to hamstring strain

When Third Baseman today, the twins took a potentially devastating blow Reus Lewis Pull up the game while running out of the ground and exit the game. As with the delivery of Betsy Helfand of St. Paul Pioneer Press, the twins later announced that the infielder had been diagnosed with a hamstring strain. At present, the severity of the injury is not known, but Lewis seems to have missed at least a while, with open days less than two weeks.

Lewis, 25, is one of many talented but often injured players in the twins roster. Lewis was the first overall draft pick at the 2017 draft, and has been a top 10 prospect in the sport in 2019 and was on the verge of making his major league debut in 2021. Unfortunately, the Right ACL eliminated the entire youngster for the entire 2021 season, and when he debuted in the 2022 major league debut, he hit his five-second right ACL late in 2022 until he had 202 more right.

He has been a regular fixture for the club’s major league roster since his second call, although he has missed time in the past two years due to tilts, hamstrings, quadruples and adductive antibodies. All of these injuries have left Lewis in just 140 games and 564 sets over the past two seasons, although he still maintains his exciting talent on all of these issues and cuts 0.265/.328/.493 at .265/.328/.493, while 127 WRC+ and 3.5 FWAR and 3.5 FWAR while playing 3-pointers for the twins while competing in a healthy enough field to be healthy.

After the first fully healthy offseason of his major league career, Lewis finally seems to be finally playing for the Wire-to-Line MLB season. However, those hopes may have been out for the time being, because, given Lewis’ long injury, more specifically, his second-half medical history seems likely to take him off the club’s opening day roster. In view of this situation, caution should be exercised when dealing with young people with caution, although the more specific timeline of Lewis returns seems unclear unless there is more information on the severity of Lewis strain.

If there is a silver lining for the twins, it is that the club’s ability to handle Lewis’ losses. Jose Miranda Last year, he was likely to be his favorite with Lewis’s Place’s 3-point shooting percentage in 121 games. But if Miranda stumbles, they will have further flexibility. Brooks Lee Currently listed as the club’s second baseman, but can slide to popular corners to make room Edouard Julien Or top infield prospects Luke Keaschall In Keystone.

Apart from these possibilities, the club has versatile options and no set location Willi Castro. Castro has planned to take on a super practical role and can cover any position on the diamond as needed. If Castro plays on infield dirt regularly, it may be on outfield opening hours, or on DH for potential outfield options Dashawn Keirsey,,,,, Austin Martineven the highest prospect Emmanuel Rodriguez.
