Paul George

Philadelphia 76ers forward Paul George was excluded for at least the rest of the regular season, with a left knee injury and a left knee injury.

He received an injection in the left adductor muscle, left knee on Monday, now announced that he will now recover for at least six weeks.

“George consulted with doctors over the past week about the best treatment options for his groin and knee injuries. The 34-year-old played through groin, finger and knee illness this season and suffered multiple injuries in the past month. Sources said George received a painkiller injection before the NBA All-Star Game in February.”

PG and Philly Curse are now familiar.

During the preseason, George Hyperext had his left knee stretched, forcing him to compete in the first five regular season games.

He then overstretched the same knee in November, which made him miss three games.

He injured his left Pinkie in January and recently missed four games due to his left groin Sorness.

George signed a four-year, $212 million deal in July with the Clippers after five seasons.

He seems to be struggling in Philadelphia’s 41 games, with an average of only 16.2 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.3 helped with the average score since 2015.

Many say the 76ers should cut losses and offer deals to the 15-season veteran, including Keith Pompey of Philadelphia Inquirer, who said they would be willing when the franchise is separated from Al Horford in 2020 for only one year.

“This summer, the Sixers may delete a bug,” Pompei wrote. “It can help them rediscover the battle, future and the hearts of fans. A team that is in pain in the salary cap can find hope again. A team too old after a 34-year-old superstar may return to the league.”

Pompei continued: “…six offseasons after lowering Al Horford’s huge salary, one has to wonder if the Sixers can do the same with the Paul George deal. Just like Horford’s one-year term in Philly, George was disappointed after signing with the Sixers in July.”
