Amazon finally wakes up James Bond

Since Daniel Craig resigned, there have been speculations that the next James Bond would be “wake up”, a black or woman’s guess. After Amazon invested a cool $1 billion to fully creative control over the franchise, most people think they won’t be rocking the boat through too much.
Now, Amazon wakes up 007 in the most unexpected way: removes guns through the cover of the classic movie on Photoshopp on Prime video.
Spoiled the iconic movie poster
If you haven’t known it, Bond almost always holds a gun in his classic movie poster and subsequent home media cover. This tradition can be traced back to TheSean Connery was on the polo, folding his arms and sitting comfortably with the gun in his hand. Watching the movie on Prime, though, you’ll notice that the gun has been removed by numbers and the trigger finger changes to look like he’s just folding his arms in a casual way.

If Amazon only changed The Cover, this is bad enough. Iconic movie poster Perfect Connery’s Secret Agent: He’s smooth, sexy and secretly dangerous at one time. This Photoshopped cover makes him look less like an action hero, but more like a boring member of your local golf club, in the nearest mirror (England?
It keeps getting worse
Amazon keeps moving forward, and the bad thing is that James Bond’s cover is older, each one is ugly (even stupid) than the last one. And the new Bond movie ghost Just cut the gun out, many images are serious Changed.

exist octopusRoger Moore’s gun was removed and had a weird kung fu grip on the other hand, making him look as if he was going to judo to cut off an invisible enemy.

And in Moon ManufacturerMoore wore a gold suit (the original was silver), and now missed his laser gun, which is our biggest hint that the movie sends 007 to space.

Amazon also overly dirty with beloved Pierce Brosnan: Guns have gone Goldeneye Cover, making the secret agent of Debonair look like he doesn’t know how to use his hands. Never die tomorrow Worse, Brosnan’s expression turned into a weird smirk, kind of like he had a song from Mom Mia! It stuck on his head.

But it’s still better than Moore Killing view and Connery In Thunder and lightningBoth images have changed a lot from the original work, and the cover now looks like what Bond might describe, “slope, ai slip”.

Amazon doesn’t know what they are doing
As a lifelong Bond fan, I just have no idea What Amazon does here. The protagonist of this franchise always sports a gun on the poster precisely because it was his main weapon, and anyone familiar with these movies knows that you can expect Bond to shoot a small group of people in every movie. So, why should Amazon pretend that guns are not part of the entire 007 package?
The standard assumption among fans is that Amazon is trying to “wake” Bond by removing guns from all these covers. But this won’t fool anyone familiar with the movie and will likely annoy anyone who watches the franchise for the first time.
No one would hate guns to approve the decision when they accidentally click on one of one of the lasting movies, who would be angry, presumably because they were expecting a romantic comedy rather than animated spy thriller?
Frankly, all of this is very ill for future James Bond movies or any future James Bond movies created by Amazon spin-off TV series. Everyone is worried that they might make Bond wake up and look effective, given Prime Video Photoshopphop, a classic cover paints these movies one by one, and even appearance Violence. The character no longer needs “Another Day of Death:” James Bond is dead in the eyes of fans trying to bother with this awkward censorship.
