American Airlines flights stop production and landing to avoid Washington state

ARLINGTON, Va. (AP) — An American Airlines plane arrived at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport stopped production and toured on the instructions of an air traffic controller to avoid being too far from the same aircraft The runway plane is too close to the Aviation Administration said.

There have been four major aviation disasters in North America over the past few weeks.
