Another storm hits Los Angeles with more wet conditions next week

The heaviest rain cycle of this week is expected to hit Southern California on Thursday.
The National Weather Service expects 0.10 to 1 inch of rain on Thursday and Friday.
After Friday, Southern California is expected to see several days of dry weather, followed by more rainfall on Monday. By Tuesday, this storm system could cause rainfall.
Another storm is expected to arrive the next day after that, and will last until March 13, which may bring heavier rainfall, but the exact amount is uncertain.
It started raining Wednesday in a drought winter.
It has been raining in downtown Los Angeles since October 1. This is below the average of the water season, which is 11.08 inches. The annual average is 14.25 inches.
Los Angeles County officials said Wednesday they were ready to rain to strike the burning area. Palisade and Eaton Burning Scars are particularly concerned in the rain due to the risk of debris.
Peak rainfall rates can range from one tenth of an inch to one third of an inch per hour, and in some areas it can reach a half inch per hour. Experts say once rains are raining at a rate of half an inch per hour, the risk of mud and debris rising from burning hillsides increases.
