She added: “To be clear, I never think moms are bad people. (Maybe one.) But I do think our team dynamic is no longer healthy and positive—for me, anyway. “
French didn’t name people by name in her article and said she still doesn’t understand why she was excluded from social events.
“One night, after putting my daughter to bed, I sat there by myself and thought, ‘Maybe I’m not cool enough?'” she wrote. “All of a sudden I was back in high school feeling completely lost about what I had done wrong to be left out.”
