Asus Proart A16 laptop gives you the latest information on AMD and huge screens
ASUS is updating its Proart laptop and Chromebook with the latest internal settings for Computex 2025 and offers a more advanced look to the two laptop families with new colors and flavors.
The Asus Proart A16 is the best choice, with black aluminum, “stealthy” hinges that bring the upper half of the laptop almost to the bottom and stain-resistant finish, hoping to avoid fingerprints. Internally, Asus offers an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX processor and an NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 5070 laptop GPU, both of which will qualify for the new Proart + PC. This means you will have access to a growing list of AI features for Windows, while Asus also includes Apps (StoryCube and Musetree), which can run generated AI models entirely locally. All are packed into a laptop about half an inch thick and have 16-inch 4K OLED.
In terms of Chromebooks, ASUS provides regular models and Chromebooks and versions that support Google AI tools. The Asus Chromebook Plus CX34 has a 14-inch display that folds flat and a 1080p webcam up to Intel Core i5 and 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM. This is enough to provide Gemini functionality locally, and you will have priority access to Gemini Advanced. The only real downside is the huge ASUS logo that still looks awkward next to a famous Chromebook logo, while limited color options: you can only choose between white or gray.
The ASUS Chromebook CX14 and CX15 come with an Intel Core N355 processor that houses 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of storage. If you’re curious about Google’s AI capabilities, you can also buy the CX14 plus sign. Whether you get a 14-inch or 15-inch model, both have a considerable port option, including HDMI for connecting external displays. Any size also comes with a variety of color options: blue, grey grey or green green or green grey with a frosted or textured surface on top.
The ASUS Chromebook CX34 is now available from Walmart and Best Buy. Meanwhile, the rest of the above-mentioned laptops will not be available until the second quarter of 2025. The ProartA16 starts at $2,500, starting from ASUS’s online store and Best Buy. The Chromebook CX14 starts at $279, from Best Buy or Costco. The best purchase price for the Chromebook Plus CX14 is $429. Finally, the Chromebook CX15 starts at $220 and is available from Best Buy and Amazon.
