At least 2 officers who fired fire at Baldwin Park

Law enforcement is responding to reports that at least two Baldwin Park police officers fired on Saturday night.
Megan Curtiss, a spokesman for the California Highway Patrol, said multiple law enforcement agencies are responding to the shooting at Baldwin Park at 4200 Filhurst Ave.
Curtis said it was unclear how many officials were involved. She said one person was detained.
According to video footage of The Times review, there are 11 photos on Palm Avenue at 7:16 pm.
The homeowner’s ring camera captured the shooting and refused to be named, saying the gunshots were fireworks. It was not until later that he looked outside and saw police cars flooding the streets.
He said the neighborhood of single family homes is usually “very quiet”, standing in his front yard, just steps from the police video, blocking the next block.
He said there had been no shooting in his nine years on Palm Avenue until Saturday.
According to another video reviewed by the Times, the helicopter circled overhead as he drove six photos at the corner of Palm and Filhurst Street.
As of 9 p.m. Saturday, multiple law enforcement agencies landed nearby and went door to door in the area. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, West Covina and Elmont Police Department police cars are stationed nearby.
Two officers who were shot were taken to the University of Southern California Medical Center, one was in the air and one was shot, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department. A source told The Times that officers were in serious condition.
This is a developing story that will be updated.
