The U.S. Vice-Chairman of Bancorp crashed on Saturday, the bank said.

(Reuters) – The plane registered with U.S. Bancorp Vice Chairman Terry Dolan crashed Saturday in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, the bank said in a statement Sunday.

Minnesota lenders said the medical examiner’s office could not confirm whether Dolan was joining, but “we believe he was.”

The National Transportation Safety Commission said it is investigating a crash on the Socata TBM 700 aircraft near Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.

The NTSB said preliminary information indicated that only one person was on the ship, but did not release the identity of the person involved in the crash.

The plane has left Des Moines International Airport in Iowa and was bound to head to Blue River Airport in Anoka County when the crash occurred, CBS News reported.
