Authorities are investigating about midnight Friday in the Willowbrook community in Los Angeles County, after a teenager was shot dead around midnight.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the victim was identified as a teenage man and was shot dead in the 13100 block of Jarvis Avenue in southern South Los Angeles.
The teenager was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, the department said.
Deputy Gabriela Robles said Saturday morning that the sheriff’s department could not provide other details about the shooting or possible suspects.
