Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy has never escaped controversy, and his latest comment on LeBron James is no exception.
Portnoy called LeBron “one of the greatest losers in the history of the Lakers” and claimed that “that bubble saved his life”, a fierce roar.
“I’ll say that – LeBron James is one of the greatest losers in the history of the Lakers organization,” Portnoy said. “Literally, he never won any victory. He’ll go back to that bubble, and the bubble boy saved his life. His Lakers aren’t a threat to do anything. He’s an all-butt, completely failed, completely failed. He ruined the team – he forced them to shoot their kids in the gun. Then, he went crazy.” I got angry. “What they tried to do was to accommodate him, they were ridiculed by the once proud franchisees.”

This is not the first time Portnoy is targeting four-time NBA champions.
Back in 2022, he criticized LeBron as a “fool” for blaming the United States for blaming Brittney Griner’s situation in Russia.
However, LeBron had a bigger thought in his mind as he entered his 23rd NBA season.
After earning the $50 million player option in 2025-26, James will break Vince Carter’s record for the most performing season in league history.
Despite ongoing speculation about possible deals or acquisitions, the sports company recently reported that the Lakers had no signs of LeBron or his camp plan to leave.
Whether James can stay criticized with another champion remains to be seen. Currently, Portnoy’s latest Tirade has added fuel to the fires in the midst of LeBron and the Lakers’ all-time year.
