There is no doubt that our favorite eco-friendly phone box is made by Pela. We absolutely love the color and design of them, and the fact that the entire line is 100% plant-based and compostable. The case material is called “Linse Stick,” the company says, which is made from flax grass and compostable bioplastic elastomers. Importantly, it does not have BPA, phthalate, cadmium and lead. If you decide to get rid of it, you can indeed put it in a compost bin, which will be completely biodegradable.

If you’re interested in the display technology of eReaders and want to know what it can do (or you just want a cool picture on the back of your phone), Tizag’s iPhone case is worth a look. The back of this case is equipped with a credit card-sized electrophoretic display (EPD), similar to the use of most extincts. The advantage is that the power to maintain the image is not required – the power is absorbed only when the image is changed. You can display anything in your photo gallery, including things like QR codes, or shopping lists you want to keep. It’s fun to simply exchange pictures through the Tizag app and watch the images on the display. The black and white images look realistic, but the photos of the colors are muted and almost tan, just like the colored e-paper – but the effect is attractive.
The shell itself ensures my phone is safe with a month of dripping and bumps, and the raised edges protect the screen and camera lens. The only downside is that since the situation prevents these connections, you won’t be able to charge or accessories with MagSafe. There isn’t a “most protective” phone case, but there are plenty of people who can tout extra security for your phone. Some of the most protective cases we’ve tried come from Otterbox; most of the cases on the brand have more protection than your standard ones, even if designed as slim phone cases. Otterbox also makes a wide variety of phone cases, so there’s a good chance you’ll find a phone that suits your style and provides the level of protection you need. Otterbox’s Defender series is one of the best options you care about first and most importantly make sure your phone survives (apart from dunking in the pool).
Silicone and Hard Box: Which one is better?
Neither silicone nor hard cases are better than other cases. Silicone shells tend to be thinner and softer to the touch, and they are usually easier to wear on your phone. Hard boxes can be on the thicker side, but they offer more drop protection than silicone boxes. Which case is best for you depends on the type of experience you get from your phone. Does iPhone 16 require a screen protector?
