Best Pixel 9 Cases for Testing and Review (2025)

Other good cases and accessories

The world of pixel accessories is growing every year. Here are some other cases I tried and liked, but not as good as the above.

Spike hard armor

Spikes with sturdy armor and sturdy armor for over $20: These cases can also be used with the Pixel 9 Pro XL. Interestingly, the Pixel 9A version of the sturdy armor and sturdy armor have MagSafe magnets on the back, allowing you to use your phone with magnetic accessories (it works on the QI2 charger). The remaining pixels 9 series have no magnets. The sturdy armor has texture and grip edges, although these areas tend to attract smudges and marks. The edges are lifted nicely to protect the screen and camera, and the buttons are clicked. On the other hand, the tough armor is smoother with a kick on the back. Annoyingly, this airport is only suitable for landscape introductions, so if you watch a lot of Tiktoks you won’t buy it.

The Otterbox Defender series costs $55: This is arguably the most protective case of the Pixel 9 series. Its hard shell divides it into two pieces, wraps around the front and back of the phone, and then clicks it into place. Then add rubber slippers on the top and hood so that you can attach your phone to the belt. The editing of the leather case can also be used as a kick multiple in the horizontal direction. Even the USB-C charging port is covered. I think I suggest the Otterbox commuter above will almost get you there in terms of durability, but if you want to maximize protection and like a leather case, choose a defender.

UAG tempered glass screen protector for $35: This tempered glass screen protector (also suitable for Pixel 9 Pro XL) is very easy to install. It comes with applicator tools, wet wipes, dusting stickers and microfiber cloth. The dbrand I recommend above is a better value because you can get two in the box and it’s cheaper, but the UAG choice is a reliable option.

PELA liquid screen protector for $30: I’m very optimistic about this because I don’t have much experience with liquid screen protectors. Pela carries this liquid magic inside. First, clean the phone with a microfiber cloth. Then, pour one-third of the content onto the cloth and wipe the phone. Wait for two minutes and wipe off any excess. This liquid is said to protect scratches, drop and even impact, and is water content to reduce the moisture content of the stain. You need to reapply every 12 months, so save the rest of the vials. If I have any questions, I will report it. The benefit is that Pela will pay for any screen repair as long as you use Pela case and The liquid screen protector is also available.

Otterbox Google Pixel 9A Premium Glass Screen Protector for $40: I tested it on the Pixel 9a, but it works with the Pixel 9, 9 Pro and 9 Pro XL. You can only get a tempered glass screen protector, but the box becomes an applicator tool, and the otter box includes a wet wipe, microfiber cloth and dust stickers. I always find that the tags you should attach the protector to are not always properly connected. Nevertheless, my installation was accurate, without bubbles.

Spigen Thin Fit

Spigen Thin Fit Case costs $17: This stimulus case can solve the problem if you want to spend as little on the case as possible but still need the magsafe feature. But I must warn you that this is the most versatile mobile phone case you have found. Functionally, I have no doubt about this. But it’s simple, boring, covering up the beautiful colors of my pixels, like a crime. It also works with the Pixel 9A and Pixel 9 Pro XL.

Spigen Glastr Tempered Glass Screen Protector (2 packs) for $19: I tested the Pixel 9a, but it works with the Pixel 9 Pro XL as well. I initially messed up my first app – the protector was slightly missed when I removed the rear adhesive, making it slightly softer to install on the phone. Good stuff, spare. The second time, it was smoother, although I had a lot of bubbles left in both times. The Spigen includes a large extruder that gets rid of them, which is great.

Otterbox Symmetric Series $31: This is a very good situation, a little bit unobvious. The buttons are easy to press, the cutouts are accurate and prevent the raised edges from being well protected. Its appearance is not unique and does not offer other interesting features.

UAG PATHFINDER MAGSAFE CASE priced at $55: This is very strange. I like this situation, even if the appearance is a bit sturdy. But MagSafe doesn’t work at all in the Pro XL case. I suspect I got a fool because I tested the same case with Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro and the magnetic wireless charging works well. Outside this blade, this situation provides a click of buttons and a large number of dents for grip. The cutouts are accurate, and the lips are lifted on the display, although they can more protect the camera module.

UAG Scout Case Price $30: I tested the Pixel 9a and it was quite obvious. I don’t like the weird rectangular bumps on the back, and I find that nothing is there. No magnets, either. But the buttons are clicking, with raised edges and accurate port cutouts around the screen. You can also get it for the Pixel 9/9 Pro and the Pixel 9 Pro XL.

The thin box at the back

Photo: Julian Chokkattu

$59 Once I popped this box onto the pixel 9a, I could see the finger smudge on the back, which disappointed me. It took me a few seconds to wipe it and after a while the stain returned. The Aramid fiber texture seems to attract Em. This is a thin box designed for those who hate thick shells, but I found it a little dull and there is no magnet inside so there is no magnetic accessory available. The top, bottom and right edges of the button will also be exposed, so not much is done. However, please check out other colors. It doesn’t look bad in the crimson red.

Thinborne aramid fiber ultra-thin shell for $70: This situation is not to prevent falling, as it is very thin. If you hate cases but want to protect your device from scratches, this is a great option. That is, yes real It’s hard to remove it (unless you have long nails). It’s also too easy to get dirty so I often find myself wiping it off. There is a friction magnetic ring, but it is difficult to reliably adhere to other Magsafe accessories – the magnet is not strong enough. At least you do need to install it with your bare hands, but you do get a screen protector in the box.

The Casetify Impact Case with MagSafe is $52: Casetify has endless design options, and although it has been slammed for the way it gets some of these designs, you don’t have a lot of places to have Spider-Man on the back or a Spider-Man that makes your phone look like a film camera. These cases have magsafe rings inside, so they should be used with most MagSafe accessories. I just don’t like how prominent the Casetify logo is on the back.

Avoid these cases

Otterbox Thin Flex Series

The Otterbox Thin Flex series is priced at $41: Once I installed this slim box, I started trying all the buttons. The power button is not blocked by the case, but the volume rocker is, unfortunately, difficult to press. Or, it’s not that it’s hard to press, but that it’s just as frustrating that you barely feel anything when you press the rocker. This is a solid case, although the edges of the hinge are a little sharp.

UAG Plyo Pixel 9 Pro Fold Case is priced at $60: Nothing about this situation screamed $60. It feels cheap and I hate that there are too many bends on the left edge in front. The edges around the screen are also large, and I also find it difficult to access the phone’s buttons. This is not very good.
