Best Samsung TV deal: 70-inch Q60C QLED priced under $700

Save $422: As of March 20, the Samsung 70-inch Q60C QLED 4K smart TV is priced at $677.69 at Wal-Mart. The normal price is $1,100, which is $422.

I want a big TV. Not because I need one, but because Walmart just knocked $422 on this 70-inch Samsung Q60C QLED, which is only $677.69. This is a QLED TV that is under $700, which is basically unheard of unless you are willing to roll dice at random non-brands. I suddenly wanted to figure out how big my TV stall could get before it became a safety hazard.

I think this is one of the best budget QLED deals I’ve seen in a while. 100% color volume of quantum dot technology means color popularity, Quantum HDR adds contrast, which is actually justified for any movie masterpiece (or garbage reality show) I’m watching. Samsung’s dual LED backlight automatically adjusts the warmth and coolness of the colors, which is great because I will never manually adjust my settings like some home theater perfectionists do.

I also want smooth movement, and the Motion Xcelerator ensures that the fast moving scenes don’t turn into blurry chaos. Object Tracking Sound Lite adds a 3D surround effect, which means the sound follows what is happening on the screen. I like the thoughts that feel like me in Car chase, not just looking at it from my couch.

  • price: $677.69 $1,100

  • Retailer: Walmart

  • exhibit: 70-inch QLED, 4K UHD

Samsung’s Game Center is another win. No console? no problem. I can stream the game directly to the TV, which is probably something I’m starting to use an Xbox controller to scroll beyond Netflix.

Mixable transactions

It’s $677.69 for $677.69, which is one of the deals that makes me question everything. A QLED TV with a price of 70 inches? My current setup suddenly looks small and very inadequate.
