Big shooter found dead in a car near Whittier school

The shooter stayed in a loose place after a few hours after the shooting was found shooting a man near a primary school in Whittier on Thursday morning.
A man was found falling on the dashboard of the Golden Sedan near Pickering Avenue and Penn Street, less than a quarter of a mile from St. Mary, a hypothetical Catholic elementary school, after being reminded by the caller. Police said the victim had multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
As of Thursday evening, the shooter was still very big. Police said detectives are conducting a “thorough investigation” and provide no other details about the potential whereabouts of the suspect.
A spokesman for Whittier Police Department told The Times: “Once we update this, we will be able to provide some information. But we also don’t want it to interfere with the investigation.”
Whittier police urged any information about the killing to contact their dispatch line by calling (562) 567-9240.
