Matthew Atkinson has returned since the news Bold and beautiful I’ve been skeptical of this in just a few weeks. You know, if you listen here a lot. Not because I don’t like Thomas, but because I’m worried that Brad Bell will hype something that won’t really show.
B&B Character Comes Back: Ivy Forrester, Wyatt Spencer, etc.
Remember when he brought Ashleigh Brewer back to Ivy Forrester and made a big gain in 2024? What did she leave behind, like two episodes, maybe three episodes? She had lunch with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), talked about still loving him, missing him, kissing him, and then po po was gone.
Then, they excite us again. “Oh, as part of the jewelry series, the Ivy’s back.” Guess what? We hardly saw her, and we didn’t see her with Liam at all. Instead, Ivy Forrester is basically a tool to introduce Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) as Will Spencer (Crew Morrow)’s girlfriend while she’s stalking. The ivy just evaporated.
Remember they brought back the episode Darin Brooks just to write Wyatt Spencer forever? So, for these and other reasons, I don’t have much confidence in Brad Bell’s return to Thomas. That’s why I actually started to get excited when I saw Annika Noelle’s post about Matthew Atkinson coming back.
Tips for Thomas Forrester’s long-term returns

He threw a bean bag and missed it. Then he threw for a second and got the corn hole. The Thomas actor captioned the “Two Charm” post. I don’t think it’s just a Beanbag game. To me, it sounds like Matthew Atkinson’s second debut, because Thomas is important.
Hope Logan’s Instagram teases family gatherings
Thankfully, we also have reason to be hopeful, as Annika Noelle posted a story on her Instagram, a great tribute to her and Thomas’ past. Apparently, it makes people excited about Matthew Atkinson coming back.
One of the scenes is Hope Logan embraces Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri), Thomas stands there, arms around Douglas stands there. It also shows that Henry Joseph Samiri plays Douglas Forrester, but we haven’t said a word about it yet.
Douglas Forrester and Paris Buckingham: Who is back at B&B?
Thomas, Hope Logan and Douglas looked like the perfect happy family, and Annika chose it. This suggests Douglas will be home with Thomas, which will be a positive sign of a long-term comeback.
Also, it is not clear whether Diamond White is back with Thomas and Douglas, or whether he is just a father and son. Diamond White, who plays Buckingham in Paris, is indeed very busy with other projects and hasn’t hint at everything about her coming back.
So if Thomas Forrester stays back, I do doubt Paris Buckingham would either not return at all or she would drive as part of the story of Thomas and Paris breakup.
Thomas and Paris: Will their engagement survive?
Finally we know that Thomas is still engaged to Paris. They lived in France to raise his son. They intend to get married at Forrest House before returning to France. That has never been shown.
Hope Thomas and Paris won’t come back for a few episodes, get married and leave Bold and beautiful forever. It feels like that isn’t what we’ll see.
Tips for party: Hope, the future of Thomas and Douglas
According to Matthew Atkinson and Annika Noelle’s Insta post, her return post, she posted a sweet family photo on Thomas Forrester, Hope Logan and Douglas Forrester, which for me is a big memory atmosphere.
Also, despite Hope Logan’s engagement with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor), their relationship is not strong.
First, Hope completely lost him in Carter’s confidence in him, sending Forrest’s work back to his due owner without having to let her look up. She was excited about it.
Second, perfumer Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) has been sniffing around Carter Walton and is totally desperate to make him her man. Hope to know.

Third, Liam wants to survive. Daphne might get into Carter’s ears and shake his confidence and hope as Logan tries to steal him. So Thomas never came back for weeks. The actor’s back shot, but there is a 4 to 6-week tape delay.
By then, Logan’s life may change a lot. Even if Hope Logan is engaged to Carter Walton when Thomas returns, she may be disrupting the reunion with her ex because of one thing in particular.
Liam Spencer’s influence: past and present
Hope always says she wants a woman’s man. That was definitely not Liam, never a minute. He is a waffle. Thomas never saw another woman while together. He was with Paris only when he rejected his marriage proposal for the second time.
Meanwhile, Carter Walton kissed Daphne Rose not long ago in hope of seeing it. Therefore, he is not a completely loyal person, nor is he a woman. With Thomas back, better than ever, Carter may lose his lady. But at least he and Daphne have a reserve girl.

With Thomas’ return, it also puts hope in a position she’s never been: there are three guys on her track – Carter, Liam and Thomas. Hope to love them in different ways. I’ve said it for a while and I definitely don’t think I hope Logan and Carter Walton are the final matches. Liam Spencer absolutely loves hope, but he does push her to Carter.
Possible New Romance on Ivy Forrester and B&B
We also have ivy waiting on the wings and still fall in love with Liam. She was talking about him the other day. She still wants to be reunited with him. Therefore, Ivy and Liam are easily inspired. Carter may end with Daphne Rose.
That stayed single and prepared to date Thomas, the person she said made her feel something she had never had before. Remember the first time they were busy? She didn’t leave his bed all day. Remember Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) even walked in. Who is that? Too strange.
Hope Logan and Thomas Forrest will reunite on B&B?
So, most importantly, hope may not prevent yourself from being attracted to Thomas. Thomas Hope absolutely ruined when Thomas left Los Angeles after Hope Logan rejected a second marriage proposal because she wasn’t ready to get married. But Thomas is. Of course, Hope Logan was heartbroken when Thomas Forrester got engaged to Paris Buckingham.
She even asked him to cancel it and then return to her. If Thomas returns to La Single, I think it might be only a matter of time before Logan and Thomas are hoping to get back together. If they do, I’m here. I am a big soap shipper. To be sure: Thomas’s return will change Hope Logan’s life.
