Carlos Alcaraz won the PIF honors first place in the year after his second victory at the U.S. Open.
Alcaraz performed better than Flushing Meadows and ranked first in the PIF ATP rankings. He also led the lead with season to earlier points hits in the PIF ATP live game, which is the measure of the number one battle at the end of the year.
PIF ATP Live Competition to Turin
Alcaraz now has a 2,590-point advantage over his chief rival Jannik Sinner in live games. No other players are within Espanyol’s 6,000 points.
The U.S. Open final was Sinner who bridged the Alcaraz gap and laid the foundation for the first clash in the end of the season in the final two months of the season. If Sina beat Alkaraz on Sunday, there would be a 1,400-point swing.
Instead, Alcaraz is in perfect position, with two ATP Masters 1000 (Shanghai and Paris) and Nitto ATP finals in the 2025 Championship.
Only 10 players ended with more than once the end of the year, and Alcaraz could join Rafael Nadal (5) as the second Spaniard to achieve the feat. Alcaraz and Sinner are the only singles players who are already eligible to compete in this year’s Nitto ATP finals.
No. 5 Ben Shelton and No. 8 Lorenzo Musetti tried to qualify for the season finale for the first time. Musetti is only 80 points ahead of ninth-place Jack Draper, but the British announced on Monday that he will not be playing for the rest of the season due to an arm injury.
The next player in the live game was Felix Auger-Aliassime, 365 points behind Musetti. The Canadian just got a new record from his best of the year, which brought the U.S. Open to the semifinals and performed well in history in the final post-professional history. In 2022, Osel Drive-Merdio Yasmeim both competed in the Nitto ATP final.
