Carmelo Anthony has asked 40-year-old Lebron James to join his retired NBA player land.
Anthony suggested that James should consider retirement after the next NBA season, jokingly suggesting that his 23-year career is far beyond that.
“He’s still going, it’s incredible,” Anthony said during a recent evening with Stephen Colbert. “That’s my brother. We’re talking about being around since we were 17, 18, tied together, connected, talked about. I’m going to be in the Hall of Fame and hope he, hope he can take his butt out of that side (smile) (smile). Enough rest.”
Celtics champion Paul Pierce definitely thinks this could be James’ last year in the NBA.
