After eight months of intense hockey, the Calder Cup playoffs entered the final round. The Florida Panthers branch Charlotte Board team pursued the Abbotsford Canucks at the Vancouver Canucks in the first game Friday night at the Bojangles Stadium.
To achieve this, two No. 2 seeds had to overturn back-to-back defending champion Hershey Bears, AHL regular season scoring champion Laval Rocket, and the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference and regular season leader Colorado Hawks.
