China is providing tariffs to some companies in the IT, health care and aviation sectors, Michael Hart, president of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in China, told Bloomberg. Chinese officials also asked companies to identify key imports that are difficult to source from other countries. When Chinese policymakers try to assure the public that they will take steps to help the growth as the U.S. record the perception that U.S. tariffs curb the economy, they will take steps to help the public.
