Chris Paul’s wife Jada posts message of support following his NBA retirement

The NBA star announced his retirement on Saturday, November 21, bringing an illustrious 21-year career to a close, and Jada was quick to post a congratulatory message for her high school sweetheart.

Fashion designer and entrepreneur Jada retweeted Chris’ retirement announcement video on her Instagram Story and posted a message of support.

“Fantastic career! Extraordinary ride! So proud of you,” Jada posted via her Instagram Story.

Jada and Chris met when Chris was a junior in high school and Jada was a senior.

Jada explained in a 2014 interview Xonecol A mutual friend set them up. The two attended Wake Forest University together after high school, and Chriss was drafted to the NBA in 2005 after his sophomore year.

The Foundation provides resources that enrich and enhance the healthy development of strong communities.”

Chris has been extremely supportive of his wife over the years, telling People in a 2022 interview that it’s important to him to celebrate the women in his life.

“I think that’s why I was blessed to have a strong mother who raised me, but also a wonderful wife and the opportunity to raise two wonderful children,” he said.

Shortly after being selected in the first round of the 2005 NBA draft, Chriss burst onto the scene in the league. After his first season with the New Orleans Hornets (now the Pelicans), he won the Rookie of the Year award.

He spent the first six seasons of his career in New Orleans before being traded to the Los Angeles Clippers, where he spent the next seven years.

In 2017, he was traded to the Houston Rockets and in 2019 to the Oklahoma City Thunder. In 2020, he joined the Phoenix Suns.

The 12-time NBA All-Star has bounced around multiple teams in recent years and signed with the Clippers this summer, where he will end his career.

Often considered one of the greatest scorers of all time, he led the NBA in assists five times during his career and set the league record for steals six times. He also won two Olympic gold medals with Team USA.
