Correspondent Terry Moran is out on ABC News at Stephen Miller

Correspondent Terry Moran, published on ABC News, has suspended social media posts from its correspondents that called Trump administration deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller “world-class hatred.”

The network said Tuesday that it was at the end of its contract with Moran “under his recent position (which apparently violates ABC News Policy) we have decided not to renew.”

The Trump administration, including Vice President JD Vance, quickly condemned Moran’s late-night X post criticizing Miller, who was quickly removed.

Moran interviewed President Donald Trump only a few weeks ago. He said in his X post that the president is also an annoying person, but his hatred is for dedicating his glory.

But for Miller, Moran said: “His hatred is his spiritual nourishment. He ate hatred.”

Moran, 65, has worked for ABC News since 1997. He is a long-time co-host of “Nightline” and covers Supreme Court and national politics. In an interview with Trump, which aired a month ago in prime time, the president said that in a controversial exchange about deportation, “you are not that good.”

According to people familiar with the situation, Moran’s contract with ABC was originally scheduled to expire on Friday without authorization to speak publicly about personnel issues.

His posts violated traditional news ethics’ violation of personal opinions on the subject of reporting, which is already a sensitive period for ABC News. The network agreed to pay $15 million to Trump’s presidential library in December to resolve a defamation lawsuit against George Stephanopoulos, which is inaccurate and believes Trump is considered a universal responsibility for raping writer E. Jean Carroll.

Trump aide Steven Cheung made a blasphemous comment on Moran’s exit Tuesday, saying those who said the president and his staff were “beaten”.
