Yes, EJ does care about Abby. If you remember, he had a fling with her. More importantly, EJ knew how much Chad loved her. EJ really regrets cheating on Chad by hooking up with Abby. I could see EJ doing it if he had the chance to resurrect Abby and reunite Chad’s family.

This might help redeem a lot of EJ’s bad behavior that landed him on Salem’s most hated list. If it were “Frozen Abby” I could see him speaking very kindly and affectionately. I think Gwen Rizchic (Emily O’Brien) would also be in favor of resurrecting her dead sister.

She’s helping pay for a state-of-the-art secret mad science lab. However, Gwen became persona non grata for cheating on Chad and trying to get revenge on Abby, who had grown up with their father, Jack Devereux. If Gwen played a role in Abby’s resurrection, that would also help redeem her.

Plus, in April, we’re getting a recast of Chad and a recast of Thomas, which would be the perfect time to bring Abby back from the dead. Will Lexi Carver return to DOOL to change Abe and Paulina’s lives?

As much as I’d love to see Chad bring Abby back, I still doubt Dr. Rolf is bringing Lexie back from the dead. We know EJ loves Lexi and he would take her back for this reason. Additionally, EJ DiMera hates Paulina Price (Jackee Harry), and Lexi coming back from the dead will cause a lot of trouble for the mayor.

Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) soulmate is Lexie, although Abe is now in love with Paulina Price. Lexi Carver is everything. She is Abe’s first wife and the mother of Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson). They had a beautiful love story until her death in June 2012. Abe held Lexi in his arms until she took her last breath.
