Days of Our Lives: Owen Kent Returns – Stephanie’s Terrifying Stalker Gets Revenge!

days of our lives Stephanie Johnson’s (Abigail Klein) life soon is in danger when a bad guy from her past reappears. Owen Kent (Wes Ramsey) will be back in Salem soon. However, it looks like he might be the one stalking her and not who we’ve been led to believe.
We’re going to discuss Stephanie’s stalker situation because her worst nightmare, Owen Kent, is back. We have a lot to unpack.
Days of Our Lives: Stephanie’s life turned upside down
Stephanie eventually develops a strong, loving relationship with reformed playboy Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson). We see Stephanie and Alex start dating again on Valentine’s Day 2025. They moved in together in the fall of 2025. But as you probably know, Stephanie hasn’t always been so lucky when it comes to men. Jeremy Horton’s (Trevor Donovan) recent return makes it clear just how problematic her romantic past is. Stephanie recently told Alex that Jeremy put her head in the hot tub. This is just one of many aggressive, abusive behaviors – more verbal than physical, but that’s not a good thing.
DOOL: Jeremy Horton and a Bad Romance
Now Alex and Stephanie suspect Jeremy is up to no good. Alex thought it was Jeremy who revealed Stephanie as Anastasia Sanz, but that wasn’t the case; it was E.J. DiMera (Dan Ferrigal). Then Alex and Stephanie came up with a really crazy idea. They believe Jeremy somehow hacked or manipulated the Salem singles dating app to intentionally hook up with Stephanie’s (Abigail Klein) best friend Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu). This is another thing that they do think Jeremy did but he didn’t. Jeremy was furious when Jada abruptly ended their date after he admitted he once dated Stephanie. But even so, as annoyed as Jeremy was, the only thing he did was throw a small pumpkin to the ground – not exactly the sort of thing a serious villain would do, right?
Alex and Stephanie also accuse Jeremy of leaving the pumpkin catapult unmanned. The teacher walked away from the science station for a moment, when Rachel Black and Thomas DiMera grabbed the device and threw a pumpkin. They hit Alex instead of Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) because Alex was caught in the middle. But there was someone in the square dressed like Jeremy, wearing black gloves and holding a knife. Dice wants us to think it’s Jeremy. It’s not. The mysterious man nearly stabs Alex. Of course, we all thought it was Jeremy, but this looks extremely fishy.
A Rough Road to Love: Stephanie and Alex’s Turbulent Past in Our Lives
Let’s backtrack a bit. If you remember, this was the second time Stephanie fell in love with Alex. For the first time, he’s not a nice guy. They dated in 2022, just before Stephanie returned to Salem and married Titan. There is a strange dynamic between Philippe Kiriakis (John Paul Lavoisier) and Alex. Alex then fell in love with Stephanie at first sight after sleeping with most of the people in Salem. But when he met her, he said it was love at first sight.
She dumped Alex hard because he was so jealous of Chad that he turned off Stephanie’s phone the first time they had sex. It wouldn’t normally matter, but Stephanie’s mom, Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans), is seriously ill and hospitalized. She is said to be dead. Stephanie missed it because Alex turned off his phone. Thankfully, Keira didn’t actually die, just presumed dead, as is often the case in Salem. Stephanie eventually forgave Alex.
Stephanie and Chad’s past
After Stephanie broke up with Alex, she ended up with Chad. Stephanie even moved in with Chad and the kids, but things moved too fast. Then he couldn’t commit to her. So she specifically dumps Chad because he plotted to fire her ex-boyfriend Everett Lynch (Blake Bayliss). Chad’s focus on the past is unhealthy. It’s not fair to him that Stephanie can’t commit, but he’s still grieving. She then turned her attention to her ex, Everett, who Stephanie believed had died years ago. It turns out he and Jada are married. Stephanie is a different woman. His ghost disappears, then gets hit by a car and falls into a coma. Very soapy.
Everett suffers from dissociative identity disorder and sees himself as both Bobby Stan (Blake Bayliss) (Jada’s wife, whom Everett is dating). Poor Everett ends up being poisoned by the crazy Connie Winiski (Julie Dove) because he knows too much about the fact that she killed Li Xin (Remington Hoffman). Stephanie was devastated and actually thought Everett had committed suicide. This is another bad love affair for Stephanie.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Toxic soda and creepy fan mail on DOOL
Now, though, she and Alex are getting along, but he’s worried about the creepy fan mail Stephanie is receiving. One of the anonymous letters scares Alex, who gives it to her father, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols), to read it again. Although Patch thinks Alex is overreacting, Steve agrees to look into the matter. Little do they know, a black-gloved creeper has also drugged the soda Alex drank during a recent meal delivery. He may be the one who wrote these chilling letters. Luckily, Alex didn’t finish the soda, but even so, it must have been a pretty strong toxin because he still felt a little weird and groggy the next day. He blamed it on poor takeaway food.

Wes Ramsey returns
Has been officially confirmed days of our lives News came and went that Owen Kent had returned to Salem with an agenda. He came back soon. It was also confirmed that Wes Ramsey will reprise the role he played in 2009. At that time, he had played Owen in nearly 20 episodes. I do suspect he’s the guy we saw stalking Stephanie with the black gloves on, and he’s the guy who put the poison in Alex’s soda. Owen is likely sending the creepy letters and is the one stalking Stephanie while she checks into a hotel this week.
It looks like Owen tried to poison Alex because he didn’t stab him on Halloween, only cut his coat. We also know that Stephanie has been kidnapped, as shown in the winter promo. While Steve is out searching for the missing Stephanie, he catches a man wearing a black hoodie and assumes it was Jeremy who snatched her. Imagine Steve’s surprise when Owen Kent came in instead. Some people will owe Jeremy an apology after this, because it really seems like he’s a changed man. I kind of doubt he’ll get an apology considering the whole hot tub incident, but I still think he wants people to know he didn’t do what he’s accused of.
Who is Owen Kent? A look at the villain’s obsessed past
When Irving comes on the court days of our lives Many years ago, he was a gardener and informant for the DiMera family, and was hired to kidnap Stephanie as part of the ongoing feud between DiMera and Kiriakis. At the time, Owen had a huge crush on Stephanie. Owen was arrested after Stephanie was rescued by her then-boyfriend Philip Melanie Jonas. And there’s Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), who’s also helping to find her. But then the truck taking Owen to prison was hijacked. He escaped. The whole ordeal left Stephanie traumatized. She dumped Philip after he refused to sever ties with his father, Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston), who had a hand in the whole mess.
When life imitates art in our lives: Do real-life abductions boost book sales?
Now, with Stephanie’s success as an author of naughty books and her pictures plastered everywhere, of course, we have Owen back. It looks like he crawled out from under a rock, still passionate about Stephanie and willing to kill her boyfriend Alex to get to her. If you recall, eccentric Susan Banks (Stacey Haiduk) warned Stephanie that her new murder mystery novel was going to come true.
This week, Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) and Maggie Horton Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) talk about sales of Stephanie’s new book not meeting expectations. But if Owen kidnapped Stephanie and her life turned into a real-life murder mystery, I bet sales would skyrocket. At least that’s a glimmer of hope.
