Days of Our Lives: Stephanie’s Dire Danger – Alex is also caught in the crossfire! !

days of our lives It’s hinted that someone seems to be targeting Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) and possibly Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson). But who’s slinking around Salem trying to get close to the hot new novelist and her hunk?
We’re going to talk about why Stephanie isn’t safe right now, and neither is her boyfriend Alex. We have a lot to talk about.
Will Toxic Ex-Boyfriend Jeremy Horton Target Stephanie and Alex on Days of Our Lives?
Now, I know what you’re probably thinking. Could it be that it must be Stephanie’s toxic ex-boyfriend Jeremy Horton (Trevor Donovan) who is stalking and targeting Stephanie and Alex? That seems like a possible answer, right? Earlier this fall, Jeremy returned to Salem to begin his new long-term substitute teaching job at Salem Elementary School.
When he arrived in Salem, one of the first things Jeremy did was try to apologize to Stephanie. He brought a large bouquet of old flowers, which she eventually threw in the trash. He apologized for their past bad interactions, including the nasty incident of holding Stephanie’s head underwater in a hot tub.
We then see Jeremy matched up with Stephanie’s best friend Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) on a Salem singles app. But when he and Jada were out, she dumped Jeremy on the spot when she found out he was Stephanie’s ex. She’s had enough of her overlap with Everett Lynch (Blake Bayliss), and she moved on from Stephanie even before she knew about Jeremy’s scandal. So Jeremy is pissed, but after Jada saves him, all he does is throw a pumpkin to the ground outside the bar.
Stephanie and Alex blame Jeremy on Days of Our Lives
Stephanie and Alex are convinced that Jeremy is the one who told Leo Stark (Greg Rikart) that Stephanie is actually sexy novelist Anastasia Sands. However, it wasn’t Jeremy who dropped the dime. EJ DiMera (Dan Ferrigal) throws a bone at Leo to distract him from two things: first, not asking about the secret new lab space in the free clinic; and second, not investigating who shot EJ as he tries to keep his promise to protect Rachel Black (Alice Halsey), the niece who actually shot him.
All signs point to Jeremy on DOOL – red herring?
On the same night that Stephanie reveals herself as Anastasia Sands during Halloween in Salem’s town square, an attack occurs that could take Alex’s life. He didn’t find out about it until later. Rachel and Thomas DiMera (Gary Christopher) are using Jeremy’s pumpkin catapult to pull some pranks on Cat Green (Annalyn McCord), but Alex walks into the line of fire. It’s not Jeremy’s fault, but of course Stephanie and Alex blame him for leaving the science device unsupervised.
Amid the chaos, someone wearing a scientist lab coat that looked a lot like Jeremy’s had scratched Alex’s coat. The attempt to stab him seemed to have nearly missed. Stephanie noticed this later. Now, after the couple ordered takeout, someone wearing black gloves and holding a book tour flyer with Stephanie’s photo on it slipped some unknown but clearly suspicious substance into Alex’s drink, which was then left outside the door. So obviously, the days we live in The writers want us to think the culprit is Jeremy, but that’s too straightforward. It’s too easy. I don’t think so.
An unlikely culprit for days: Could Liam Celeko or a resurrected Everett be the real stalker?
If you recall, Liam Seleko (Hank Northrop), the troubled young criminal mentored by Abe Carver (James Reynolds), was also wearing black gloves when he tried to steal Kate’s handbag in the park the other day. So, maybe Theo Carver’s (Tyler Joseph Andrews) high school bully also knew Stephanie or Alex from years ago and he had some run-ins with them. He is a possible culprit.
Liam’s full backstory has yet to be revealed. All we know is that he’s a petty criminal on parole and that he was Theo’s high school bully. So Abe’s son isn’t thrilled about his dad tutoring Liam. Maybe Kate’s would-be mugger is also harassing Stephanie and Alex. I think it’s unlikely, but he does have the glove, so he’s a possible candidate.
Another possible suspect on DOOL
Some fans are also wondering if Everett Lynch/Bobby Stein (Blake Bayliss) has returned from the grave to wreak havoc on his ex-girlfriend Stephanie and her current boyfriend Alex. If you remember Bobby, he died, but that doesn’t mean anything because this is Salem. He could be one of Dr. William Rolfe’s (Richard Wharton) medical miracles.
They probably resurrected him and tried some new procedures, just to get confused. If you think back to the circumstances surrounding Bobby’s death last year after Connie Winiski (Julie Dove) poisoned him, it looked like he committed suicide. The whole deal is that Everett threatens to reveal Connie’s dark secret, and he might come back to Salem to annoy Stephanie and piss off Alex.

Framed in Salem: Is Jeremy Horton the scapegoat in our lives?
But let’s go back to Jeremy for a minute. If he wasn’t involved in stalking Stephanie and Alex, who might be trying to make him look like a stalker, making it look like he was trying to harm them? I don’t know that this could be Jeremy’s old partner in crime Jet Carver (Marcus Patrick). Although Abe’s nephew is an undercover ISA agent, Jett loses his spy job when he breaks cover to protect Chelsea Brady (Rachel Melvin). This was many years ago. With the help of her mother, Billie Reed (Lisa Rinna), she helps Jett (Marcus Patrick) find a job on Salem University’s security team.
As far as we know, even though we can’t see Jet, he’s still around Salem. He may have some resentment towards Jeremy and his previous illegal activities, as it ultimately ruined Jeter’s career with the ISA. So, he might not really mean to hurt Stephanie or Alex, and Jet might just frame Jeremy for jail time out of revenge.
Revenge Plot of Our Lives: Is Joey Wesley Behind Alex’s Attack?
I can’t shake the feeling that someone is trying really hard to frame Jeremy to take the blame for all the weird stuff we’ve seen surrounding Stephanie and Alex. He was a very convenient scapegoat. Maybe he’s the villain, maybe he’s the scapegoat. The only angry moment we really see from Jeremy is when he throws the pumpkin after Jada breaks off the blind date and immediately sides with Stephanie.
He didn’t attack anyone. I think it was just a frustrating moment. Sure, Jeremy did some crappy things to Stephanie back in the day, but most of the people in Salem, and I would say everyone in Salem, had done something dirty, or tried to kill someone, or plotted against someone, or lied or cheated.
DOOL: Who comes after Alex?
On the other hand, it seems like the people currently targeting Alex and Stephanie may be trying to get Alex to leave so they can get close to Stephanie. One person I can immediately think of who might have a problem with Alex is Joey Wesley (Alex Ann Hopkins). She left Salem pregnant with Alex’s unborn child and lied to Stephanie and Alex. For whatever reason, Joy didn’t want them to know about her pregnancy. So maybe she sent someone to spy on Alex. The mysterious figure was holding a knife and did not look like a pregnant woman about to give birth.
Perhaps Joy has recruited her nephew Parker Jonas (last played by Christian Garnier) into her plot to find out what’s going on with Alex and piss off both him and Stephanie. Parker is the son (if you don’t remember) of Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) and the late Dr. Daniel Jonas (Sean Christian), who was also the half-brother of Holly Jonas (Ashley Przemis). He currently lives in New York City, where Joey also travels. So, I just suspect now that Jeremy might be a convenient scapegoat while something bigger is going on.
