Now, let’s talk about why this happens. We’ve been saying here for a while that we thought it would eventually be revealed that Sofia was not pregnant with Tate’s child. For the longest time, I thought Aaron Green (Louis Tomeo) was the one who got Sofia pregnant the day they went out to watch body and soul If you remember that day a few months ago, almost a year ago, after Tate called Sophia Holly Jonas (played by Ashley Przemis) by her name in bed, you had your cake and eat it too.

So, I wonder if Sara will give Rafe the hair sample Sofia gave her and have Rafe do another DNA test between Tesoro and Sofia to confirm that she told Sara the truth and that the firehouse baby is indeed hers. I mean, Sophia allowed her to run it. So even if Sarah does the testing herself, she still is not in violation of HIPAA, I assume the testing will be done by Sarah or Rafe somehow.
We’ve all seen Sarah urge Sofia to come clean so Tate and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) can have some closure, but Sarah is still at her wits’ end. Even if she ran a test and confirmed that what Sophia said was true, she wouldn’t be able to tell Tate or Brady. This means Tate is definitely not the father. So Sarah was also very frustrated with how selfish and horrible Sophia was. She seemed to think Tate would get over the whole baby thing.

Meanwhile, Tesoro’s time with Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon), Leo Stark (Greg Ricarte), and the Hernandez family is coming to an end, as the waiting period for Sofia to change her mind is over. Tesoro is now officially open for adoption. So the big question is who will end up having Sofia’s baby.
Now, for a while, fans also suspected that Tate might not be Sofia’s baby daddy. To her credit, Sofia seemed genuinely shocked by the idea that the baby wasn’t Tate when Sarah confronted her. She used Holly’s phone to send those naughty texts. These come in while the social worker is there. She wrote that scathing letter to the adoption agency. Still, Johnny and Chanel may still have a chance at adopting Tesoro, since they found out from Rafe that it’s impossible for Holly to send text messages.
From there, it was easy for them to figure out that the only person who hated them enough to do this stunt was Sophia, because it was easy for Johnny to figure it out from there. Sophia sent the letter to CPS because she was still angry about Johnny ruining the adoption months earlier.
Before Sophia was born because that was the perfect answer to all her questions. Johnny screwed up. But with Rafe’s kind words and proof that the text messages were fake and the letter was a lie, Johnny and Chanel may end up adopting little T.

But there are other possible families and people who might end up getting this adorable little baby. Now, it’s possible that Aaron wants his child because Aaron is likely the one who got Sofia pregnant. Even though he was still in college and didn’t know he was the one who got Sophia pregnant, Aaron probably wanted his son. If you remember, he actually tried to confess to Tate multiple times about the day he slept with her. We might still see some flashbacks, but you know, it could very well be him.
Kate Green (Annalyn McCord) and Felicity Green (Kennedy Garcia) may help Aaron raise his son. They might want the baby. Felicity and Kate are probably excited to have a nephew. I’m sure Aaron would be shocked by all this. In the end, he really likes Sophia and he might feel betrayed. He may or may not want custody of his son.

Now, if Kate and Aaron don’t have a baby, or don’t want to adopt Tesoro, maybe Amy Choi (Schnee Nielsen) will step up. You know, in the early stages of pregnancy, Amy urged Tate and Sofia to get married and raise the child together, but Sofia refused. She was the one who wanted to adopt. Therefore, once the truth comes out, Tesoro’s grandmother Amy may decide to adopt the child because at this point, things are out of Sofia’s control. She had no legal say at all.
If this were his child, Aaron would still have a say. Because he never received notification of the child’s birth. So, I’d say Amy did say it looked like Sophia’s brother and she seemed to have a vibe with the kid. So, Amy is possible. The thing is I still don’t know if her mom will find out everything because Sophia continues to lie. I do want everyone in Salem to know the full truth.

The other option, of course, is that Harvey and Leo might get the chance to adopt Tesoro. Along with Rafe and Gabby Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) and Arianna Horton (Marissa Reyes), they take care of him. Rafe has officially become Little T’s adoptive father, but he doesn’t plan to keep Little T forever. But Harvey and Leo discuss their adoption the days we live in.
They worry they won’t be approved because of their past. Harvey’s daughter died in that hot-car accident in Texas. Leo was once arrested for being a conman, so this might be a bit of a stretch. Of course, the final option was some random couple ending up with little Tesoro.
However, I feel like the baby will be adopted by one of the people we know wants him, or we will find out he is related to them and wants them. So, right now, I’m leaning toward Johnny and Chanel, but you never know. Aaron and the Green family may step forward and take their children home. I just hope the writers don’t drag this out too long.
