Apple’s recent trailer on social media came from CEO Tim Cook with a mysterious message “There’s something in the air” and many speculated that a new product was coming.
To shed light on what this might mean, Techradar editors were largely joined by Lance Ulanoff, asking trend host Josh Lipton to share his insights on potential devices Apple may release.
“We certainly have heard rumors about the M4 chip’s MacBook Air,” Uranov said, explaining that the chip’s debut in other Apple Products gave the MacBook Air the best time to update.
Regarding Apple’s artificial intelligence (AI) efforts, Uranov criticized their progress, making the tech company’s achievement B-:
“Look, it’s really incredibly frustrating. You have to recall too. Apple is a leader, right? It’s Siri. They’re with Siri first. Actually before Alexa, right? Then Alexa came out, and with the identity of the digital assistant it became more and more popular, while Siri has gotten some brain transplants over the past few years, getting better in the past few years.
“But now in the AI field in the AI revolution, we have a three-month update cycle, and we’ve been waiting for a long time, like a ten-month period, to get Apple to the fullest of what they promised,” Uranov added.
