Diddy’s new trial request was denied before verdict

The July 2 verdict was followed by a highly publicized trial that lasted nearly two months. Didi’s ex-girlfriend CassiHis dates were from 2007 to 2018 and he was a witness to the prosecution, proving allegedly suspected physical and sexual abuse during the relationship. (Didi denies all her allegations.)
In November 2023, Cassie, 39, filed a lawsuit against Diddy, accusing him of abuse. He denied her claim at the time and the duo settled in court a day later. Many of these claims were discussed during Diddy’s federal trial, and in May, Cassie testified that she resolved the original case for $20 million.
Didi has requested bail several times since her arrest last year, but Subramanian denied all claims. The latest denial comes August after Diddy’s lawyer argued that “special circumstances” guaranteed his release. However, Subramanian said the defense failed to prove that the situation existed and ruled that Diddy would stay at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center, where she has been since her arrest.
After reading, Didi’s attorney demanded his release, Casey’s attorney asked the judge to reject his bail request.
The lawyer wrote: “Ms. Ventura believes that Mr. Coms may pose a danger to the victims who testified in this case Douglas Wigdor.
Sean John’s founder faces up to 20 years in prison, with each shipping charge loading up to 10 years. However, he could be sentenced to a much shorter sentence, and the year he spent in prison would count as time.
Didi’s judgment was held on Friday, October 3. Prosecutors are seeking 11 years in prison, while Didi’s lawyer argues that he should serve no more than 14 months before being released by supervisors.
