The recent Lake Tahoe boating accident resulted in the tragic deaths of eight people.

Doordash’s chief financial officer reflected on Josh’s contribution to the food ordering company in a statement.
“We are saddened by the tragic accident of our beloved colleague Josh Pickles’ life,” Ravi Inukonda said in a statement to ABC7 News. “Josh loves his team, and it’s inspiration for everyone who has the honor of knowing him.”
He added: “For nearly seven years at Doordash, he brought a contagious spirit that made the people around him immeasurable. We miss him deeply and will always carry our memories.”
The CFO also acknowledged his surviving family members who were mourning the loss and concluded: “Our thoughts and love are with his wife, daughter, his family and those close to him. We are working hard to support them through this very difficult time.”
