Steph Curry usually plays a hero for the Warriors, which is Batman, but Draymond Green doesn’t want him to sacrifice his health.
“No, we won’t go to Superman. If he was in a place to play, I believe he would.” Green told reporters after losing Game 4 of Golden State 117-110.
“He and Rick [Celebrini] Everyone else will figure this out, but we don’t need Superman. You have to play a long game, so if you can, we know he will. But there is no pressure. Whether he plays football or not, we have to find a way to win. ”
Marc J. Spears and Scape’s Spears asked Steph himself about Draymond’s comments, and he had similar views.
“Even if I want to be Superman, I can’t do it,” injured warriors guard Stephen Curry told @andscape in response to Green’s comments about Game 5. Curry added that he does not want to use it in 5 and will not know his ham ham until the next medical evaluation. ”
Media members asked Steve Kerr a “hypothetical” question surrounding a scenario where if Stephen came to him and said he was going to play in Game 5, would they let him? But Kerr simply told the media that the team will update on Wednesday.
Although it seems unlikely that Curry will return to Game 5, Green said something happened in the background.
“He’s working hard every day as far as Stephen is concerned,” Green said. “He’s here for eight hours a day, working nine hours here and trying to get back as much as he can.
“He has a great morale. Obviously, no one is excited right now, but he is trying to get back. That’s all you can do at this point.”
