Elden Ring Nightreign beginners’ guide: team strategies, level goals and survival tips

Elden Ring Nightreign is a new multiplayer spin-off from Fromsoftware’s 2022 popular Action-RPG Elden Ring, which will leave even the meanest fans completely overwhelmed in the first place. Fortunately, there are some tips to help survive at night and win at night.

exist Elden Ring Nightreignplayers competent or solo in the run, defeating a night book, a daunting boss waiting for them to fight the enemy and get stronger at the end of the two-day match, which requires quick thinking and quick reflexes to knock it out. While it carries the Elden Ring name, Nightreign works so differently, as the game’s name is speed rather than a slow exploration of other software titles. It is this change in speed that will disappoint veteran players, but if you follow some of these tips, you and your team will be ready to survive all night.

Team Chemistry is the Key

Putting a good team together will eventually lead to a successful game. A team should consist of a person who can tank (Wylder, Raider, Guardian) and other characters. A big help is to have a team member play a ranged character (Ironeye, Spluse) who can act as practitioners to pick up characters who fall into battle because they need to be attacked to heal them (or at least have another player carry a ranged weapon to execute the same weapon). Being able to do this from a distance can be very useful.

Another part of team chemistry is where people go strategically. A person who wants to list where your team is going, not where everyone is doing it, will help with moving running without having to wait to figure out where to go next.

If possible, go to the flask first, then the boss

Each character starts with three flasks, but there is more to be found. They can be in churches scattered on the map, usually in bright orange. Having more than three flasks would be a huge help, so they should be prioritized. Ideally, you need to head to the nearest church while cleaning up the campground along the way. Once there are two additional flasks, then focus on the boss. If the church is too far away, travel through the enemy-filled camp on your way to the church, while heading there.

Pick up all weapons

An interesting mechanic at Nightreign is that every weapon found in the run has passive rewards, and these bonuses pile up as long as you put it in your bag. That’s six weapons with six enthusiasts, which is a big help for your character. Also, don’t worry if you pick up a weapon that doesn’t fit your character. Melee savages like Raider can find a polishing stick with a certain amount of it, and that wand is good for them. For example, shields can provide some good buffs even if you may not want to equip them. Another idea is if you are a melee character as a way to get your teammates back from a distance when needed, consider picking it up.

Find the best route

Routing is very important for good operation. You want to try to clean up the various dungeons, castles, mines and camps available for level and better equipment. Since you have some time before the storm circle closes, start with the external parts and slowly enter. Finally, you will regularly clear the camp before the circle closes to get the last runes to level up the character.

Be aware of your surroundings and you may miss some help

All pictures found throughout the map are tiny patches of glowing flowers, fire butterflies, etc., and so on, which can provide some quick hobbies like finding more runes or getting rid of state disease or curing you. One thing to be aware of is the scarab. These critters – hovering over glowing balls and making bells – usually drop amulets and can be equipped with the ability to provide your character with a permanent offensive or defensive enthusiast, the same thing you get when you beat your boss.

Consumables for use

Players want to stick to their consumables, but ignore this feeling and it will never fail. If you are fighting your boss, use all the consumables you have. The consumables you can find on the run are very useful and there are a lot around the map.

Don’t be afraid to run away

Although the storm circle doesn’t seem to be hurt much when in trouble, don’t attract fate. You need to stay away from the storm. If you are cleaning up a camp and the storm is on top of you, there is a certain time to cut and run. This is especially important to remember in mines or underground dungeons, where the only exit may lead you into the storm. Until you have the right time for storms, don’t try to do too much to get too close to the storm – if you do venture under the ground, keep checking the map to see when to start closing.

One thing to note is that the boss you may have started fighting has to run away on day 1 and they will still show up on day 2. Not only that, once you run away, they won’t be autonomous. This means they are easy to choose because they are already weak and your team is stronger.

Realize when to ignore garbage mobs and items

When you board the map, your team will most likely be in a random position and you will see some low-level enemies nearby. You should definitely knock down all these weaker enemies to get yourself into level 3. Random items will also be scattered around the map. Feel free to get them in time, but once you get to level 3, it’s time to focus. In Nightreain, you need more levels, better equipment and buffs that are not found on weak enemies or items around. Once you get high enough, they will be completely ignored as you won’t have extra time to pursue stronger boss enemies and powerful upgrades.

Shooting Level 12

The importance of staying right at the right level when fighting nighttime is not enough to emphasize. One level can be the difference between an easy win and a total failure. A good rule of thumb is to shoot at least level 4 by the end of day 1, level 8 by the end of day 2 and level 12 at night. While you can beat the boss at a level below the recommended level, the more the battle will go, the higher your level.

Take a moment to explore and train at the round table

Round table fixing is not only a hub for buying artifacts, doing some training and interacting with characters. As you progress, new content will be found in the area. For example, once you get certain items and interact with other NPCs, the new nightclub will be unlocked. This is especially true after success, as there will be more learning when exploring the roundtable.

Set out alone

To be successful, every player on the team needs to understand the character’s abilities, how to properly equip yourself and learn some boss patterns. This is hard to do during the competition because you have limited time and the group you are with will continue running. That’s why doing a few solos yourself can help you get to the game. To start a solo, hold the table at the round table, click it, and go to options. At the bottom of the option, you can choose to run single or multi-player. Make sure it’s a single player and start on your own. Remember, this will be hard to run on your own, but you want to use this time to develop your understanding of the game’s mechanics and characters.

Looking forward to an unexpected

The final suggestion is to expect an unexpected situation. There may be some random events throughout the game, teleporting from a bunch of enemies on you, other bosses who appear after the boss fight, and even Night Walker pops up in the boss on Day 1. You always need to be prepared because things may change within a second and your game may be over.

Elden Ring Nightreign will be available on May 30 for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One consoles for $40. There is no need to play this game with the original Elden ring.
