Even George Lucas can’t stop Star Wars from falling

Forgot Anakin Skywalker… For many Star Wars fans, George Lucas is the real choice. As Disney continues to put Star Wars on the ground, fans convince themselves that they may be the only ones who can save the series from its frustrating decline. But it’s a much more painful fact than any space station: Lucas has handed the franchise to the ground and will handle Star Wars like Disney would if he was still in charge.
Arguably, the first real evidence of George Lucas’ fall is the release of a special edition. At first, Star Wars fans like to see the original trilogy in theaters again, but the quality drop is obvious… Garish CGI replaces clever practical effects, and cool moments like Han Solo Killing Greedo are forever ruined by awkward editors. “Forever” is the keyword here, as special editions are now only for sale or streaming, keeping us away from the most iconic versions of these movies as Lucas decided to pave his creative legacy so he could have a chance to make a few dollars.

Special edition helps build hype Phantom Threatthe first film of George Lucas’ highly anticipated prequel trilogy. The film has highlights like a big fight with Darth Maul, but it’s mostly a major disappointment, replacing the step-by-step rabbit with the special effects of farting and the little-qualified space rabbit. The prequel has since attracted younger audiences, but for older Star Wars fans, these chaos and marginal incomprehensible films prove the franchise’s decline, and even bright spots like the Clone Wars cartoons are based on Lucas’ failure to tell a good story.
Now Disney purchased the franchise from George Lucas in 2012, the failure of the sequel trilogy and multiple TV spin-offs has led many fans to think of Star Wars Won’t If it’s never sold, it will drop. However, we have determined that Lucas is busy wasting the franchise, which made him rich for 15 years (the first special edition in 1997) and then sold it to Disney. Most fans don’t realize he’s doing something Crazy Prior to that, including the production of Star Wars live-action performances, the show’s episodes cost $40 million each and were basically doomed to the franchise.

It’s the true story, but it’s the story most fans don’t want to admit: If George Lucas never sold Star Wars to Disney, the series would still be completely down, even if it didn’t die completely. New ideas such as live-action performances with impossible budgets prove that Lucas lost his wit like a Jedi, which first led him to create the franchise. Also, it is worth remembering that some of the Disney Age sequel trilogy creative fans were very annoying, including Luke Skywalker as a precocious young woman who taught the precociousness, originally developed by Lucas himself.
It’s tempting and even comforting for Star Wars fans who are disappointed with the current franchise situation, and it’s even thought George Lucas could do better. In fact, though, he has begun to undermine the franchise, and Disney’s own failure shows how much they have learned from the man who made the galaxy far away. At this point, we can hope that Star Wars is back once Disney has finished killing it, with a funny ghost.
