At least in recent months it is the third such attack.
This has led people in the industry, such as crypto executive Alexandre Aimonino, to change their daily routines.
Now, he avoided public transportation, skipped industry gatherings, and changed his driving home.
“When I have to go somewhere, I try to park as close to my destination as possible; that’s this kind of safety measure. When I go home, I will never go the same road or the same road. Just to avoid anyone following.”

French crypto bosses reacted to fear and anger after a series of violent kidnappings in the country.
In January, the co-founder of French cryptocurrency company Ledger and his wife were kidnapped, while in May, the father of the head of a crypto company was stolen.
Everyone was rescued, but both lost their fingers.
Details have a gloomy view of the gang behind the attack.
Authorities said 10 people were questioned after the Lej attack, seven were arrested after the first kidnapping in May, and the two were released because they had no contact.
The Paris Attorney’s Office did not answer Reuters’ detailed questions.
While some in the industry have strengthened security and are considering bodyguards, others have called for tougher crackdowns on crime and deregulation to make encrypted paper trails more anonymous.
The rapid rise in prices of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in recent years has created a wealthy group of investors.
Security experts say that cryptocurrencies may attract criminals by posting evidence of newly discovered wealth online and perceptions that cryptocurrencies are easier to launder money than traditional cash.
