German police investigate fraud cases among 8 new Afghans

German federal police are investigating several Afghans entering the country and promised possible admissions for possible document fraud.

Authorities said Thursday night that an initial investigation into eight document fraud had been conducted. According to information obtained by the DPA from security sources, these cases mainly involve forged or forged documents.

On Wednesday night, a German government-leased plane, which was rented by the German government, landed in the eastern city of Leipzig, which was rented by the German government.

The plane took off from Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan.

“We can confirm that particularly endangered people from Afghanistan, which arrived from Pakistan yesterday, have accepted the admission check and started a preliminary investigation,” a spokesperson for the Indoor Federal Interior Department told German tabloid Bild.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs: No doubt

“Everyone on the charter flight has been thoroughly checked,” said a spokeswoman for the Berlin Foreign Ministry. “There is no doubt that anyone is identifiable, because security is the top priority in these procedures.”

All those entering Germany were persecuted by the Taliban.

Germany is attracting Afghans through several plans. Until the Islamic Taliban seized electricity again in August 2021, Germany had soldiers in the country as part of a NATO mission.

In addition to former local staff of the German armed forces and other German institutions and their relatives, Afghans are also subject to the Taliban persecution. This may be the case because they have served as a lawyer or journalist in the past.
