Grigor Dimitrov splits his way with British coach Jamie Delgado.
The 34-year-old Bulgarian has been eliminated since Wimbledon had a pectoral injury, and he announced the split on social media.
“After several years of accomplishment, Jamie Delgado and I decided to be friendly with the Assistant. I hope everything goes well with his future efforts. After this time, I’m glad to be all in all.
Dimitrov has not been in the game since he suddenly retired for two sets in the fourth round of Wimbledon.
According to the Infosys ATP Win/Loss Index, the nine-time ATP Tour Titlist has a season record of 17-11, ranking 28th in the PIF ATP rankings.
Dimitrov is the 2017 Nitto ATP Finals champion and will begin participating in the Rolex Shanghai Masters on October 1.
His 58 consecutive Grand Slam appearances are over.
