“Happy Gilmore 2” surprise star

Comments about “Happy Gilmore 2” are flooding, and while some are more complementary than others, it’s hard to argue about the overall sequel, as it dropped less than a week ago.
On Tuesday, Netflix announced that “Happy Gilmore 2” was aired 46.7 million times in the first three days of its launch, the most successful U.S. opening weekend in Netflix’s history.
Another thing is hard to question? The surprise star who stole the show. Yes, Scottie Scheffler.
you perhaps Meet Schaffler from his main dominance on the golf course, who recently won the open title and made many headlines for commenting on what really happened to his life. He is ranked No. 1 in the world and raised his main title to four, but apparently he also has some performances. And, if you watched “Happy Gilmore 2”, you might notice it too. He looks comfortable, his humor, his ability to make fun of himself and his ability to deliver are the highlights of the film. A quick scan of the internet and social media will tell you the same thing.
But don’t believe our words. Ask people there to shoot on the spot.
“Schaeffler is great,” said Hunter Mahan, a golf swing double for Adam Sandler, who appeared on this week’s Golf Suppar podcast to discuss the feeling of making a movie. “People never see that side of Scotty. He just bows his head and grinds and talks about his faith and his family. But then you see that movie and you’re like, guys have a lot of personalities. He’s funny. He’s just the guy at the end of the day.”
Scheffler has some memorable moments, mainly laughing at his fun in the movie of being weirdly arrested at the 2024 PGA Championship.
After he was arrested for beating another player, he quipped, “Oh no, no more.” At the end of the movie, still in the prison cell, he is touched by the guards.
“Hey, Sheffler, it’s been three days, are you sure you don’t want to call?”
“Depending on,” Schefler said. “What is dinner?”
“Chicken fingers.”
[Pauses]“I’ll stick with it on another night.”
“He just killed it,” Mahan said. “They really rely on him. Just made the movie better.”
