Higgo keeps radical Sunday and at Sanderson

JACKSON, Mississippi – Garrick Higgo scored five shots on Saturday with a score of 67, taking two shots in the final round of the Sanderson Farm Championship, with no plans to play safely at Jackson Country Club on Sunday.

“I will be as if I’m behind tomorrow, and be as aggressive as possible and be as many birdies as possible,” Shiggo said.

A week after the Masters, South African players fought for Lauren’s injury after winning a counter-match in the Dominican Republic. After the regular season, he had surgery on his hips, but realized his fitness habits could change. He lifted it less and smarter.

Steven Fisk and Danny Walker were tied for second place. Fisk made the second consecutive 65, and Walker shot 67.

“Like I’ve been doing more games in the last three days,” Walker said. “It’s hard to say what Garrick does. He can run away. I can’t do anything about it. If I keep playing like I do, maybe one or two fewer mistakes are missing, I think that will take care of it.”

Unlike most players in the fall series, Higggo’s FedEx Cup rankings have few results. After winning the Puntacana title, his PGA Tour card has been locked and competed in the Player Championship. The fall series of events will no longer receive the Master invitation.

Only the top 100 retain full PGA Tour cards after the fall series in November. There are five games left on the schedule.

Walker ranked 104th in the FedEx Cup, while Fisk ranked 135th.

“It’s really about controlling the driver, hitting a bunch of fairways, just trying to choose my attractions, where I can be aggressive and I just have to play PAR here,” Fisker said.

Taylor Montgomery was under 15 of 69 in the second round. He ranks 147th.

Matt Kuchar (65) scored against Frankie Capan III (68) and Vince Whaley (68). Whales rank 102 on the rankings, Kuchar 115th and Capan 157th.

Higgo scored 18 in 14 and 4-15 to reach under 18 before ranking the last.

“I would say it was a good fight,” Shiggo said. “I know it wasn’t easy. I mean, it was by no means easy. Golf never really walked through. I just stayed patient and tried to put a swing on it and tried to do my best.”

Shigggo played in the final group with Scottie Scheffler in the Propool Championship last month, where he tied for seventh place.

“I seem to be doing well,” Shiggo said. “I think we all always try to be patient. Weeks are easier than others.”
