“Fallen Predator” is jailed for sexual assault
“Degenerate and Calculated Sex Predator” was sentenced to jail after admitting sexual offences against four women.
Craig France, 33, tried the crimes including rape at Cambridge Crown Court on Monday, unaware of the victims.
The judge was told that all French victims who could not be identified in the media coverage of the case were aware of.
France on Hammonds Drive in Peterborough was sentenced to 10 years and seven months in prison.
Judge Bishop heard that France also admitted sexual assault, exposure in public places and voyeurism committed crimes in 2021, 2022 and 2023.
The judge was told that France was a truck driver who committed crimes in his home and shared footage of his activity.
He said the victims in France either “slept, unconsciously, and had to prevent them from agreeing”.
Judge Bishop said France had admitted to rape and the victim suffered “severe psychological harm.”
The judge said France posed a “significant risk”.

Prosecutor Jacqueline Carey KC said the women believed France was friends, and told the judge: “His method of committing crimes was to go out in Peterborough, buy a lot of drinks for the girls and invite them back to his home for a party.”
She said the parties involved more drinking and spending time in the hot tub.
Miss Carey said France had photographed the victims on his house or on the camera on his phone.
Miss Carey said the woman raped in France told police how she felt about the prospect of watching the camera.
The woman said, “I was shocked by what I was going to see.”
“I don’t know what happened.
“I would have seen people I trust do one of the worst things someone can do to humans.”
Miss Carey said France also stands out in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire, in 2021.
Beth O’Reilly KC said for France that the case was not “direct”.
She said France led a “quite hedonistic lifestyle” after a romantic relationship in 2019.
Miss O’Reilly said it was wrong to suggest that France was a “monster”.
“This is a house called a party house,” she said.
“This is someone who will attend the party.”
“This person is sending messages about sexual activity,” she added.
“Sexual Rights”
Miss O’Reilly said that France was also “intoxicated” when committing crimes.
Miss O’Reilly told the judge: “There is a background of excessive alcohol.”
“This level of crime is hedonism.”
“This is an extraordinary act to be involved at the age of 33 and shows the risk you pose in society,” the judge told France.
He said France has a feeling of “sexual rights” and his actions are “about”.
“It’s clear that France is a degenerate and calculated sexual predator that poses a danger to women,” Det Con Em Scates, who participated in the investigation, said after a hearing on Monday.
“This is one of the worst cases I have ever handled in my 23 years as a police officer.
“The courage of these terrible crimes is extraordinary.”
