Hot consultation has been extended since SOCAL is set to another Scorcher

Hot weather extends calorie consultations to parts of Southern California on Wednesday, which will endure another day’s hoarse temperatures.

Hot consultations effective Wednesday at 8 p.m. in the Outback of Orange County include Anaheim, Santa Ana, Irvine, Garden Grove, Orange, Fullerton and Mixunvio, as well as valleys and mountains in the Inland Empire and San Diego County.

On Wednesday, mercury could reach 118 degrees in Palm Springs. 103 in Palmdale; 101 in San Bernardino; 100 in Santa Clarita, Woodland Hills, Ontario, Lake Elsino and Paso Robles; 98 by the river; 92 in Temicula; 89 in Anaheim, Escondido and El Cajon; 87 in downtown Los Angeles; 83 in Irvine; 82 in San Luis Obispo; and 78 in Santa Barbara.

“Hot temperatures can cause fever,” warns the San Diego Meteorological Services Office. “Drink lots of liquids, stay in air-conditioned rooms, stay away from the sun, and check on relatives and neighbors.”

The National Weather Service Office in Las Vegas issued an “Extreme Heat Warning” to areas of Death Valley National Park and the Mojave Desert (including Interstate 15 Corridor in Las Vegas) and Colorado River (including Lake Havasu City). The warning takes effect from Wednesday to Thursday from 10 a.m.

The Meteorological Bureau said the maximum temperature in the Las Vegas Valley could reach 106 to 113 degrees on Wednesday.

The Office of Meteorological Services in San Diego said the heat wave is caused by high pressure dominated by high pressure.

Forecasters also warn that fire conditions have increased in parts of California for the rest of the week.

Where there are increasing potential in places including Interstate 5, Ventura County Mountains, Antelope Valley and Foothills, Santa Ynez Mount and Santa Barbara County Santior County San Luuiis, including gusts of gusts of wind, hot temperatures and very low humidity, there is an increasing potential, which has a “risk of gusts of grass fire, which may spread rapidly due to gusts of wind, hot temperatures and very low humidity”.

Temperatures are highest at 102 degrees in Woodland Hills; 100 in Chatsworth and ojai; 99 in Lancaster; 98 in Palm; 97 in Northridge; 95 in Van Nuys and Paso Robles; 94 in West Lake Village and Fillmore; 92 in Burbank; 91 in San Gabriel; 89 in downtown Los Angeles; and 85 in Long Beach.

Further south and east, temperatures reached 115 degrees Tuesday in Palm Springs and Death Valley National Park. 113 pins; 100 in Lake Elsino; 99 in San Bernardino; 98 in Riverside and Chino Island; 97 in Ontario; 96 in Yorba Linda; 94 in Escondido; 89 in Santa Ana and Fullerton; 88 in Anaheim; 84 in Vista; 83 in John Wayne Airport; 80 in Laguna Beach and Encinitas.

The coastal areas are more mild. Los Angeles International Airport reported as high as 78 degrees Tuesday. San Diego and Redondo Beaches report up to 77.

Most of Southern California is expected to start a cool start on Thursday, a federal holiday, a federal holiday in honor of federal forces’ efforts to establish freedoms enslaved people in the South.
