How much does it cost to pay for peace and tranquility?

The average American pays $2,521 for peace and tranquility per day, while parents pay $1,147. This is a new survey of 2,000 Americans (30% of whom are parents) conducted by Talker Research on behalf of Apple Vacations, which explores the importance of quality time charging and the barriers to getting enough. The results show that the average respondent had only 9.5 hours a month, with the biggest obstacles being family obligations (50%), work commitments (32%) and financial restrictions (24%). Social obligations (22%) ended up with free time (13%) were also listed as the reason why respondents did not desire to be alone.
